chapter 33

I'm still quite ill so I apologize for any errors. This isnt the best chapter and I apologize for how cliché it's going to be.

Emilia, Antonio and their other friends were trying desperately to help Sophia move on. Evan had suggested they fake date for a bit but that didn't sit well with Lucy. The whole friend group knew Evan and Lucy had grown up together and liked each other but neither acting on it because they didn't want to hurt Sophia.

However the fake dating idea seemed to have Antonio and Emilia smiling at each other.

Daniel was not over her. He has realised what she meant to him which was only upsetting Sophia further because deep down although heartbroken she still had feelings.

If she fake dated it would get her mind of everything and it would show Daniel she had truly moved on and he had truly lost her.

"Who is the most popular guy in our year then" Hailey asked.

Now that luca was in prison his spot had been taken by.....

"Probably Zach" Emilia said.

The Russo's ruled the school

And even though Emilia had been bullied she too was quite popular however she stuck to the friends she had made when they didn't know her last name.

"Zach sees you more as just a friend though" Emilia quickly added.

It was true, Zach being part of their friend group at the start, he saw all of Emilia's friends as friends too. He drifted between his friends and sitting with Emilia now but he was always close by.

"Well I don't feel like fake dating" Sophia replied.

"Okay , we just figured it would show Daniel you've moved on" Antonio said, accepting her decision.

"But I haven't " she mumbled, completely dissapointed in herself.

Later that day, Antonio and Emilia were at Emilia's locker waiting for her brothers. Sophia came over, she had been doing a lot of thinking, she wasn't going to fake date but when Daniel had approached her, she knew she had too.

"That arrogant bastard, he wants to give me another chance. Me? I'm the one he cheated on. But apparently because I embarrassed him he's giving me another chance" she ranted.

"Wait until I get hold of him" Antonio snapped and hugged Sophia, Sophia was like a sister to him and so he was protective of her and wanted a chance at teaching Daniel not to mess with his honorary sister.

"I need a boyfriend" she declared.

"Such a shame no boy actually wants you though isn't it" Dante mocked earning himself multiple glares.

Emilia didn't just glare though she decided to lie slightly "not that it's any of your business but some guy in our class was asking her out"

Dante rolled his eyes "and the last guy who did that cheated"

"Considering you don't like her and have made it clear you don't want her around. you certainly show alot of interest in her love life" Emilia said.

"There's plenty of guys Sophia, just don't rush into anything" Matteo advised deciding to be the calm one.

Emilia smiled slightly and pulled Sophia aside "fake boyfriend or real?" She whispered.

"Fake. I just want show Daniel I don't need him. I don't want to deal with all the stupid feelings with another guy" Sophia whispered in return.

Emilia went back to where her brothers were glaring at Antonio and Antonio glaring back.
