"now we're all seated how about we calmly talk" Alesandro said.

"You don't need to stage another intervention dad" Damon stated.

His dad was in the armchair, and Damon and Emilia sat on the couch on the more comfortable side of his office.

Emilia noticed how he said 'another'. It didn't suprise her to much but she was curious. Maybe it could be something to as Damon would put it, 'bully' him over.

"This isn't a intervention. Emilia has questions, and we are going to anwser them honestly" Alesandro replied.

Damon didn't want to be honest though however he couldn't say anything because one bad word and Alesandro would lecture him.

"Now Emilia I do have two questions for you. How long have you known he was the boss? And how did you find out?" Alesandro asked.

"Well it was more of a guess based off the last encounter with him and I really wasn't sure. I figured it out this morning and confirmed it earlier today" she replied not wanting to bring her nightmares into it.

"Very well. You must have a lot of questions so ask away. Damon this is a calm environment no shouting or storming out "

Damon rolled his eyes. It felt like a intervention. He loved his dad, but he was not a fan of how Alesandro treated him like a child.

Especially when his own father had to supervise him. He ran the Mafia, he ran the entire underworld. He was feared by everyone yet his dad didn't trust him with a chainsaw.

"I don't really know where to start. I really am okay with it though. I don't like it but you are my family and nothing is going to change that" she replied.

"You can't be okay with me being who I am" Damon interrupted.

"Why not " Emilia asked.

"How can you? No sane person would be so accepting, especially with your past. Why don't you fear me? Why aren't you scared I will snap and kill you or do something" Damon replied.

"We've been through so much for me to fear you, you took a bullet for me  why would you if you wanted me dead" she replied.

"Its not just that either, you've always been there for me, I'm fully aware of your anger issues, I've already made it clear you can be scary with them but despite being like that you still make time for me"

"I've killed people Emilia, you saw me kill on one of the meetings you had with me" he said refering back to how she met him as the Mafia boss and someone tried to attack.

"Its like you want me to hate you. You do realise I was kidnapped and you were all killing people, I wasn't scared of you then"

"Of course I don't want you to hate me but how am I suppose to believe you're okay with all this"

"Children , Children, calm down" Alesandro said calmly, he knew at the moment this was something his oldest and youngest children had to talk about, he was merely there to keep things calm. For the time being of course  as he knew she would soon have questions for him.

"Promise me you only go after the criminals. You don't hurt innocent people right? And there's no kidnapping or human trafficking?" She summerised her main questions.

"Only criminals. No. Kidnapping is vague term, we kidnap criminals but not random kids off the street. And definitely never any human trafficking " Damon said truthfully.

And it was the truth. Even if they owed him money they had commited a crime. Some crimes weren't as bad but at the end of the day they were all criminals.
