No one's POV:
After what had happened between Wednesday and Enid, things had been weird between them. Once they confessed their feelings, Wednesday went straight back to her writing time while Enid excused herself to see Yoko.
Despite classes going on, the vampire skipped a class just for her bestie. But once she had to go to her next class, Enid had to find something else to do—that didn't have anything to do with her roommate. So, she wound up sneaking around Nevermore.
It was a long day—waiting for her friends to get done so she could hang out. But once they did, the day went by quicker.
When she got back to the dorm, it was late and Wednesday was already asleep. So she crawled into bed as well and fell asleep.
But the next morning, Wednesday woke up to the wolf standing next to her bed. "Howdy, roomie!" she exclaimed.
The raven squinted her eyes at her roommate's odd behavior. "Why are you up so early?" she asked as she sat up.
Enid rocked on the balls of her feet. "I'm just in a good mood," she said cheerfully.
The goth girl rolled her eyes and stood up, making her way to the bathroom. "I'm going to get a shower," she stated.
The wolf skipped behind her. "Can I hop in with you?"
Wednesday skipped to a stop and whipped around to glare at her roommate. "Excuse me?"
Enid rolled her eyes. "You know, since what happened yesterday, I didn't think you'd mind." She poked Wednesday in the shoulder but before she could pull away, her wrist was grabbed and started to be turned painfully.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" The wolf winced before yanking her arm back. "What the hell was that for?" she yelled.
The raven gave a very small and unnoticeable smirk. "Nothing happened last night, I have no idea what you're talking about," she said before turning away and walking into the bathroom.
Enid raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? We kiss—"
Wednesday cut her words off by pressing a finger to her lips. She shushed her, mumbled a small stop, then turned around and shut the door in Enid's face.
Enid's POV:
What the hell was her problem? She was denying the fact that we kissed.
Wait...
She was denying the fact that we kissed!
Was she embarrassed or something? No clue, but I had to get to the bottom of it.
I stood still for a whole five minutes thinking before realizing my roommate was in the doorway staring at me.
I screamed and jumped backward. "God, at least say something!" I yelled, but she ignored me and walked past.
I watched her as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the room, leaving me there.
How dare she? We always walked to class together—no matter what.
