Enid's POV:
I skipped into the dorm but stopped in my tracks as I didn't see my girlfriend. "Wednesday?" I called out.
"Enid," she answered.
I looked around the room. "Where are you?" I asked.
"Under my bed."
I raised an eyebrow as I spun around to her bed. I walked to the opposite side of her bed, away from her desk, and saw her legs sticking out.
"What the hell are you doing under there?" I laughed.
The raven shimmied her way out from underneath and stood to her feet. "I thought I saw a tarantula crawl under there." She sighed.
I shuddered. "Ew. You know I hate those things." I scrunched my face in disgust.
Spiders were scary—why did they have so many legs?
"Exactly why I was going to put it on your bed." Wednesday cracked a tiny smile. Aw, adorable.
I pushed her back a bit but she didn't budge. "Meanie." I huffed before walking over to my bed and sitting on it.
I crossed my arms and looked away as the girl walked over to sit next to me. But I couldn't keep up with it and I soon sighed before looking at her.
Staring into those eyes was something I thought would remain a dream. Seeing her face in different expressions than only cold-hearted ones was also something I never thought would be possible.
Her eyes flickered down to my lips and I did the same to her. She pulled me in for a kiss, and I kissed her right back. It was soft and gentle. We pulled away, our foreheads against each other.
"I've been waiting forever to do that." She chuckled lightly, and I felt her warm breath on my chin.
The last week had been rough. We've been doing our best to take care of ourselves and Yoko. Fortunately, Yoko was doing very well. I was hanging out with her earlier and she seemed to be doing better, so that was good.
I smiled and pulled our foreheads apart to rest my face in the crook of her neck. I felt her head tilt to press against my head and I smiled. "I love you," I muttered.
"I love you too." Her breath warmed my neck.
After a few moments, I pulled away as my face lit up. "So, I've been meaning to ask... Yoko and I were wondering if you wanted to join us for a girls' night!" I exclaimed, hoping she'd say yes.
But she only hummed in response before looking off to the side. "Anything for mi amor."
I blushed and smiled at the same time. I liked it when she spoke different languages. Even though half of the time, I didn't understand what she was saying. I just hoped it was good.
"Great!" I jumped to my feet. "I'll text her!"
I was excited for tonight!
Wednesday's POV:
Enid was texting Yoko and I walked over to my desk. I sat down and began to set my typewriter up. If mi amor was happy, then so was I.
