Enid's POV:
I woke up with a good night's sleep—no nightmares. I glanced down at the sleeping girl in my arms, I was so happy to have Wednesday back.
That reminded me I needed to call Yoko about that. I'd do it later.
I admired Wens, her warm body pressed up against mine. She was never usually warm, always cold. I smiled and kissed her forehead, hoping it would wake her up.
Luckily, it did. She grumbled to herself and rolled onto her back, breaking out of the grasp she had on me. Her head tilted up and we looked into each other's eyes.
"Good morning, mi amor," she whispered to me.
"Morning, Wens." I sighed softly.
I watched as Wednesday got off the bed and I sat up. She walked into her closet and I stayed there, wondering if I should go get ready as well.
"Enid." I heard from the closet.
Wednesday came back out and stared at me intensely. I cocked my head to the side with a tiny smile on my face—hopefully not too noticeable.
"Where'd did half of my clothes go?" she asked, folding her arms.
I let out a snort and covered my grin with my hand. I may or may not had stolen some of her clothes to keep.
I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know," I muttered, trying to force my smile back.
I did know, but her reaction was hilarious. So protective over clothes.
Wednesday took slow, big steps toward me until she reached my feet. She stood directly in front of me and lifted my head upward so I looked at her.
Damn, she looked so dominant, so...
"Did you take it?" she repeated.
I didn't respond as I was trying to stifle my laughter. The raven exhaled before turning away with a roll of her eyes.
She picked out a different outfit and walked into the bathroom. She didn't make eye contact with me, but as soon as the door closed, I let out the laughter.
"Knock it off." I heard an annoyed sigh from behind the door.
I continued giggling as I walked out of her room to my own.
Wednesday's POV:
I couldn't help but smile a little once I was hidden in the bathroom. Enid stole my clothes—cute.
I heard laughing from the other side of the door and I told her to knock it off whilst holding back my own smile.
It quieted down, but I still heard it. Oh, Enid...
I got dressed before walking out of the bathroom. There wasn't a sign of her, so I assumed she went to go get dressed herself.
I left my room and went downstairs to the kitchen where my parents were cooking breakfast. I spotted Pugsley in the living room watching his one and only idol, Vincent Thorpe.
