Wednesday's POV:

I was rudely awoken by Yoko screaming something. I sat up as I saw her freaking out. I automatically turned my head toward my bed where Enid was still stoned.

How long did it last? And how long was I even asleep for? Definitely not that long. "What's going on?" I asked the vampire.

She stumbled over her words frantically, making it hard for me to understand. "Speak slowly and clearly," I told her.

She spoke the next few words between quick deep breaths. "Bianca... is... gone..."

What? "Is she missing?" I asked.

Yoko nodded her head swiftly before stopping. "Gone..." She mumbled before wheezing, falling to the ground, and passing out. Damn.

I stood up and kneeled next to the girl. I checked her pulse—she was still alive. After hesitating, I shook her awake.

"Bianca?" she questioned as her eyes opened.

"No—Wednesday," I muttered before standing up again.

Yoko stood up as well, brushing the dirt off of her. "Let's go. We're going to find Bianca," I stated as I headed toward the door.

"Wait, what about Enid?" the vampire called out, stopping me in my tracks.

I turned my head toward Thing who was on my desk, flipping through a magazine. "Thing, if Enid wakes up while we're gone, tell her to contact Yoko," I told him before walking out of the dorm, Yoko trailing behind me.

We walked down to her dorm. "Where was the last place you saw her at?" I asked.

"In my dorm," she answered. I opened the door to her room and looked around. Bianca wasn't there.

But then a terrible thought popped into my head.

"Yoko," I said slowly and firmly. I turned to her and she looked at me, silently telling me to continue. "Do you think Xavier or Ajax took her?" I questioned.

Her eyes slowly widened and I could tell she was thinking. But I wasn't able to know as she suddenly spun around and ran out of the room. I sighed and rolled my eyes before chasing after her.

I followed her around the school before I finally figured out she was heading to Xavier's dorm. I turned the corner as she barged into a room and I quickly ran over. Once I reached the doorway, I saw Yoko on top of Ajax on the bed, strangling him. I stood there and watched, not exactly wanting to interrupt.

"Where's Bianca?" the vampire spat.

"I-I-I-I-I don't know!" he stammered, struggling against her.

She drove the belt she was strangling him with deeper into his throat. She might kill him—good.

No, I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't disobey cara mia.

Once the gorgon's face turned a purplish color and his eyes started rolling into the back of his head, I pulled Yoko off of him.

"Enough, let's go find Xavier," I grumbled, grabbing her shirt sleeve and dragging her out of the room.

Yoko threw the belt, hitting him square in the face. I heard her chuckle as he mumbled something. We left the room and headed to the principal's office.
