Wednesday's POV:

I trudged to my classes, my limp giving me a problem. I was getting frustrated because of it. It was annoying to have.

I reached my class and took my seat. Enid and Yoko sat at the table in front of me. I had to survive a bit longer of "learning" before I was free.

I've been exhausted ever since what happened to me. I knew I had been basically resting the past week, but I still felt fatigued. At least the wound has been healing efficiently.

I took notes as the teacher spoke, blocking out the other students' chatter. I was excused from most of the work I missed while in the hospital.

Being in school again was tiring. When I was finally done taking notes, I yawned. I figured I'd take a nap after classes were finished, but I wound up dozing off near the end of class. The bell woke me up and I packed up and went to my next class.

One more class and then I was done.

Enid's POV:

I entered my next class and took my seat. Wednesday wasn't in this one, but she was in most of the others. Neither was Yoko.

I hated my last class—it was so lonely. Bianca was on the other side of the room, though Xavier usually sat next to her. This time, he wasn't...

Oh, right.

I wondered what the girls were going to do about him. Actually, I didn't want to know. I could probably ask if I could sit next to her, but the teacher was strict and probably would say no.

I rested my head on my hand and let my thoughts drown out the rest of the class. Soon, the bell rings and I jerk in shock. Damn, was it that quick? How long was I zoned out for?

I grabbed my bag and headed out of the room to find Bianca waiting for me. "Girl, you good? You were like zoned out for the whole class," she said as I walked next to her.

"Yeah, no, I'm fine," I told her. The siren nodded and smiled before we went our separate ways.

All day, I had been thinking about this cool thing I should do—take Wednesday on a date. I skipped excitedly up to our dorm.

"Wednesday—" I started to shout as I barged into the dorm, but I shut my mouth as I spotted her sleeping on her bed.

I walked farther into the dorm and raised an eyebrow as I stared at her. Was she sleeping? She literally slept for five days straight basically.

I rolled my eyes. It was fine. That just gave me more time to plan without being so secretive.

Wednesday's POV:

I crashed as soon as my head hit my pillow. I really had no idea why I was so tired—I slept for days.

A few hours passed before I woke up from my nap. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up and when I looked over at the other side of the room, my girlfriend wasn't present.

I stood up and looked around the room. There wasn't a sign she was here. I shrugged before walking to my desk and preparing my typewriter. I needed to catch up on my novel.
