Wednesday's POV:
I was lying on my bed, sputtering my guts out. I felt horrible even though I would never admit it. I had been coughing nonstop for the past 24 hours. I had ruined our date as well, which I was quite disappointed about.
Why was I even sick? I hated being ill—it was the worst kind of torture.
Enid took my temperature a little while ago. "Holy crap, that's high," she stated, turning the thermometer toward me so I could read the number.
"I'll be fine," I murmured with a cough, rolling onto my side.
"No, you're not, Wednesday!" Then she kept rambling on and on, but I stopped listening.
So, that led her to run out of the dorm. At least that was what I assumed. I never caught a word she said, and I began to wonder where she went.
The door opened. Speak of the devil.
I turned on my opposite now, facing the room rather than the wall. Enid had a bag on my desk and was rummaging through it. She finally pulled out an orange bottle and dumped the contents on her hand before holding it out to me.
"Take it," the wolf ordered.
There were two pills in her palm and I immediately shook my head. "No," I argued. I was not taking stupid pills—I was fine.
"Now!"
With a sigh, I took the pills and studied them. I moved my hand to turn them around and around. "I need water, stupid dog," I criticized. I wasn't in the mood. My throat was burning and felt like sandpaper
To my shock, my girlfriend obeyed without any retaliation. I watched her walk into the bathroom and then leave with a plastic cup in her hand.
"Here. Happy?" she asked as she handed me the cup.
I took it from her hand. "Yes, ma'am," I muttered. I placed the pills on my tongue and washed them down with water. I felt the cup being taken from my grasp as I looked back over at the girl.
Enid rummaged through the bag again before giving me more pills. I tried to refuse, but she forced me anyway. By the time we were done, I felt tired again.
"Can I go to sleep now?" I huffed.
"Yeah, and please call me if you need anything, Wens. Your phone is next to your pillow," she said as I turned my head to indeed find my phone there.
I had never realized it was there until now. "Thank you," I mumbled.
Enid grinned before kissing my forehead. "I'mma go hang out with Yoko and Layla for a bit. I'll see you later," she said, brushing my cheek with her hand before leaving the dorm.
My eyes skimmed the room and observed Enid's side closely. I never really paid much attention to it since I never cared, but now I did and I wanted to notice every little thing. But I drifted off into a slumber halfway through.
Enid's POV:
I was worried about Wednesday. I ran out to get things for her this morning. I hoped she'd feel better.
I walked to Yoko's dorm and entered to find her and Layla on the bed talking. "Oh, hey!" Layla spotted me and waved.
I waved back and trotted over to sit with them. "How have you been?" Yoko asked as she hugged me.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Fine, I guess. Wednesday's just sick. How about you two?" I questioned, shooting the vampire a wink to tease her.
Her face turned red quickly and I chuckled. "We've been well," Layla answered. Then she glanced at Yoko. "You good, girl?"
Yoko nodded quickly before rushing to the bathroom. Layla and I shot each other a look and began laughing. "I'll go get her," she said, getting up and walking to the bathroom. But instead of calling for Yoko, she went to the bathroom and shut the door behind her.
Oh?

Wednesday's POV:
"Wens?" I heard. I opened my eyes to find Enid sitting on the edge of my bed. I hummed in response and rubbed my eyes. "Feeling any better, sleepyhead?" she questioned, rubbing my arm soothingly.
I sat up and swallowed subconsciously, but I realized that my throat felt better. I took a deep breath and realized I could breathe just fine now. "What happened?" I asked. I didn't recall anything since Enid gave me that medicine.
The wolf looked at me for a while before answering. "You've been asleep for the past few days," she told me.
I froze. Asleep for a few days?!
"What?" I exclaimed.
"I gave you too many pills of..." She trailed off and rushed over to her side of the dorm before walking back with something in her hand. "Diazepam?"
Enid placed the bottle on my desk. "I'm sorry," she apologized.
I shook my head. "It's fine. I'm feeling better anyway, right?" I chuckled briefly, and she smiled and nodded. "What happened while I was out?" I asked, swinging my legs off my bed.
Her face twisted. "Well, on a good note, Yoko and Layla got together," she spoke happily.
On a good note? Something bad must have happened...
"What's the bad news?" I asked carefully.
Her smile faded as she hesitated.
"Ajax is back."
