Wednesday's POV:

I got back from taking Thing lotion shopping. He was so annoying.

Enid walked into the room as I was reading. She hung out with Yoko this afternoon which gave me the time to set up the prank.

I heard my roommate scream and I quickly suppressed a smile. I turned around in my chair to find something running to me and clinging to me tightly.

"Okay, Enid. Let me go, I'm dying." I struggled to speak and breathe.

"Sorry," she murmured as she peeled away from me.

She stood next to me, but farther behind me, as she stared at her bed. "Why did you scream?" I asked, still hiding the smile.

"Th-there's a... a... a spider!" Enid squealed, pointing toward her bed, her hand shaking a little.

I scoffed and smirked as I walked over to her bed. I saw the tarantula and grabbed it by one of its legs. I dangled it out in front of me as I turned around. "This little thing?" I asked innocently.

"Get it away!" the wolf yelled.

I chuckled briefly as I tossed it at her, the spider landing on the floor by her feet. She screamed again and ran out of the dorm. I couldn't help but laugh a little.

Damn, she was funny.

I caught the spider before it disappeared from my sight again. That was enough fun. I threw it onto the balcony and shut the window.

As I turned around, the door opened and Enid slowly moved in. "Is it gone?" she asked quietly.

I nodded. "It's out on the balcony," I said, moving aside as she walked toward the window.

As she watched the spider crawl around on the ground cluelessly, I snuck up behind her. "Boo!" I whisper-yelled, tickling the back of her neck.

Enid screeched and jumped away. "Wednesday, stop!" she whined as she watched me laugh.

"I-I-I'm sorry. It's just so... amusing," I said between laughs.

Enid grunted before she twirled around to walk away. I grabbed her arm and held in my laughter. "Wait, Enid, I'm sorry," I said as she looked at me.

But I started laughing again. I pulled away from her arm as I noticed she was becoming angry. I tried to stifle everything but it obviously failed.

I was trying to calm myself down when something slapped me. I lifted a hand to my cheek and glared at Enid.

"Don't you fucking dare. You did it to me—only fair I did it back," she grumbled, pointing at my face.

I sighed, brushing it away and grabbing her arms. "Fine, but I really am sorry though," I apologized, looking into her eyes. I only barely meant it—I didn't want her to be mad at me.

"Fine," she muttered, walking over to her bed. "I'm getting tired, I'm going to bed." The wolf crawled under her blankets and got comfy.

I agreed—we had classes tomorrow and it was getting late. I turned the light off and lay next to my girlfriend, pressing her warm body against mine. I cuddled her as we fell asleep.
