Wednesday's POV:
I have been practicing every day this week for an hour or more. The Divina and Bianca situation had been pushed aside for now.
It was tournament day and I was ready. We were going to win. I sat in my fourth class next to Enid. Sadly, she wouldn't be able to make it since we would be leaving in the middle of the school day.
I would be leaving after lunch, so I had an hour and a half to be with her. I knew she'd be rooting for me—when wouldn't she?
Bianca and I had it—we were going to win.

Enid's POV:
I walked to the quad with Wens next to me. She had the tournament today, and she didn't seem nervous at all, which was expected of her.
Our pinkies were linked until we arrived at our table, fingers breaking apart.
"You ready to beat this son of a bitch?" Bianca exclaimed with a large grin as we sat down. Wednesday responded with a nod.
"You guys are gonna do amazing!" I squealed, psyched.
I had full faith in my girlfriend. And Bianca.
"Y'all better eat up," Yoko said, leaning forward before leaning back to stretch and stand up.
I turned to the raven whose face was a bit paler than usual. I nudged her gently. "You okay?"
She continued to stare at the table for a few moments before looking at me. "Yes, I was just thinking," she replied, her face going back to its original color.
I hummed softly with a slight nod before Yoko came back with food in her hands. "Let's dig in!"

Wednesday's POV:
Enid led me out into the hallway after we finished eating. I had around five minutes before I'd have to leave.
"I believe in you. You got it, Wens," Enid said, placing her warm hand on my cheek.
I glared at her before suddenly embracing her. My arms wrapped around her tightly and all I could say was I had no idea why I was doing what I was doing. I felt the urge to hug her.
The wolf pulled away and looked into my eyes. Sometimes, I wondered what she saw in my eyes that I didn't.
A second hadn't passed by before she touched her lips to mine. "I love you," Enid muttered, pressing her forehead to mine.
"I love you too."
The bell rang and students began to fill the empty hallways. "I'll see you later, okay?" My girlfriend raised an eyebrow and I nodded my head.
We parted ways and I headed up to the dorm to grab my fencing bag. Once I heard the announcement dismissing the fencing team to the bus, I began to head out of the school.
——————————
The bus ride was short. I sat alone and Bianca sat on the seat across from me. She tried to make small talk with me, but I blocked her out.
