"Are you excited about tonight? Third date, that's usually when you kiss" Irene chuckled while we were getting a coffee at work.
"Yeah, we skipped that rule" I replied and laughed.
"Then maybe you'll have sex tonight!" she said excitedly.
"I doubt that either. I want it to be special and I want us to really have serious feelings for each other before we do that. Oh my god, do you think he's a virgin?" I asked frightened.
"He's 19 and good-looking. It's not like he's 16 and a freak nerd. I highly doubt you'll be in the lucky position to de-flower him." Irene said and I just rolled my eyes.
"Thanks for nothing" I mumbled. If the time comes, I'll definitely ask him though, it's a huge step.

Irene followed me home after work with her car to help me get ready and choose an outfit. It was a nice midi skirt with a simple top. I stepped into some slippers and got downstairs with my friend. She had offered to drive me as Pablo didn't live directly in the city, and the ride with my Vespa would have been quite long. She dropped me off and I rang the bell downstairs which was immediately opened. I took the stairs and then knocked at his door, but it wasn't opened by him - I knew him from the National Team, it was Ferran Torres.
"Hi, you must be Vicky, I'm Ferran, nice to meet you" he said and stretched out his hand, which I shook.
"Hi?" I said confusedly, behind him I saw also Pedri eyeing me with a grin on his face. He also introduced himself and then Pablo and Fermín stumbled into the living room. Pablo was still holding a sock that he quickly stuffed into his pocket.
"Wow, I thought I was going out with one footballer but lucky me, I got four. Maybe all your ages combined will finally come close to mine" I chuckled and everybody laughed.
"They... were just about to go." Pablo said and pushed the guys one by one out the door.
"Bye Vicky! It was nice to meet you!" Pedri shouted and Pablo slammed the door shut.

"Well, they're quite charming" I chuckled.
"Sorry, they were curious. We... um... they... they just helped me pick an outfit" he stammered.
I looked at him. He was wearing his usual t-shirt and shorts, but it was nice that his friends wanted to help him.
"Ok, I thought about ordering some pizza, which one do you like?" he asked.
"Pizza!! I love pizza!! I always go with mushrooms and ham" I said excitedly.
"Great. I have to go with a classic Margherita and do some extra rounds at training tomorrow" he joked.
"By the way, um... in case you're coming over to mine again, could you send me a list of stuff... you're allowed to eat? I love to cook but it's hard when you don't know which ingredients you're allowed to use" I said.
His eyes lit up. "Wow, that's very nice of you to be so considerate. I'll text you a list when I'm on a bus or airplane and have got time to kill" he chuckled.

He ordered the stuff on Uber Eats and then we made our way to the couch.
"It looks cleaner than the last time I was here" I said and looked around.
"Yeah, I didn't really expect a visitor then" he chuckled. "By the way, I got two tickets for Sunday so you can bring a friend" he added and walked to the kitchen counter to pick them up and hand them to me.
"Wow, thanks!!" I said and in that moment my phone chimed three times. "Oh, your friends are very... erm - subtle" I chuckled and turned it to him.

Pedri González (pedri) has requested to follow you.
Fermín López Marín (_ferminlopez) has requested to follow you.
Ferran Torres (ferrantorres) has requested to follow you.

"Oh God, they are so embarrassing" he said and put his head into his hands.
I put my phone back in my bag and chuckled: "I'll accept them later. I don't want them to stalk my profile all evening."
After talking about all kind of stuff, the pizzas finally arrived and we sat down to eat them together.
"Oh my God, you use cutlery for pizza?" Pablo asked incredulously.
"Yes?" I admitted shyly.
"That is so... weird" he said.
"I just don't like having my fingers full of flour and sauce" I tried to defend myself.

We talked and laughed about all sorts of things, with him everything was just so natural and easy. When we were together I forgot about everything else, that he was a superstar footballer and five years younger - it just didn't matter in that moment as it was just about us. We both talked about our jobs and what happened during our days at work, about our friendships and about our families.

"Shoot, I hate to break the mood, but it's already 11 and I have to take a train to Madrid at 6 tomorrow..." I said sadly.
"Oh, no worries, I'll take you home! What are you doing in Madrid?" he asked as I loaded the dishwasher.
"I'm covering a political conference, I'll be back on Saturday evening, then I'm going to your match on Sunday and on Monday morning I'll take the train to Malaga" I said and smiled.
"You take a lot of trains!" he chuckled.
"I love trains. They're just so much more comfortable than planes. I'm not a huge fan of all the airport stuff: checking in, security control, the seats at the gates are always occupied, waiting for boarding, nah... But in the train I can sit down, unpack my computer and actually get some work done without interruptions" I explained.
"Sounds reasonable. But I love planes. I love the sky and the clouds and seeing all the cities below me" he said. "Ok, let's go" he said as he took his car keys. We went down to his garage and got into the Audi.

When I had taken my seat he took my hand and gave it a kiss before starting the engine and driving towards the city center. He was playing music from his Spotify and I learned that he loved Spanish hits. Unfortunately, the drive was ending soon as we were turning into my street.
"Wait, I'm looking for a spot to park for a minute" he said and we both looked around.
"Here! That's straight in front of my door" I said excitedly. It was a huge spot, he could easily fit in.
"Erm... I'll continue looking" he said and we drove around the block three times.
"Why don't you just take that one? You'll surely fit" I asked.
"Um... I'm not a great parallel parker..." he mumbled.
"But you surely had to do it for your driving test and you passed" I asked.
"Yeah, but there I just memorised the steering wheel movements of the driving school's car" he explained.
"Ok, come on, I'll help you, it's really easy. Position yourself completely next to the car in front first" I explained.
"You drive a scooter, do you know how to parallel park?" he asked and shot me a look.
"Whoa, hold your horses young man, I've had a driving license for five years more than you now" I chuckled.
"Ok" he said "Next?"
"Turn 3/4 of the steering wheel, but only turn when the car is rolling, otherwise that's really bad for tires and axis" I explained.
"How do you know so much about cars?" he asked.
"Dad's a fanatic, now concentrate, when you're halfway into the parking spot you turn the steering wheel completely to the other side" I said and he followed my instructions. "Ok, now when you feel you're almost there turn the steering wheel back to the middle and adjust yourself. You did it! See, it's not so complicated" I said and pressed a kiss on his cheek.
"Thanks for the help. I... always feel a bit embarrassed when you're just so much more... experienced" he mumbled and I had a feeling that he wasn't just talking about the parking.
"Do you want to come upstairs and talk about it?" I offered.
"No, it's fine" he said and gave me a smile. "Though I could come over after the game on Sunday if you want me to?" he asked.
"Yeah sure, I'll prepare something to eat" I said and smiled. I pressed a kiss on his lips and said good night.
"Vicky!" He shouted after I had gotten out and I turned around. "You looked beautiful tonight." he said and winked. I blushed and sent him an air kiss.
