Chaos was all around me in my Uncle's house in Seville. Vendors and their employees were bustling around the place, relatives of mine and Pablo's were running around to decorate the halls so that everything would be more than perfect for our wedding tomorrow. To say that it was the society event of the year, was probably an understatement. We had managed to cut down the list of invitees to an intimate 450 people, which included our huge-ass families, friends, more or less everyone from FC Barcelona, from the La Masía coaches to every teammate and their plus ones, as well as the coaching staff and board members. Ah, yes. And on top of that, the King and Queen were attending. And the Queen Mother. No pressure at all.

"WHERE IS THE BRIDE?" I heard my wedding planner shout and I quickly startled, squishing the rest of my cigarette against the sole of my shoe and hiding the butt under a garden stone.
"I'm here!" I quickly said and joined the others again.
"I see that and you shouldn't! You should have left for the rehearsal already 5 minutes ago!" she shouted at me, sounding very stressed.
"Uh... ok! I'm going!" I replied and turned around quickly, however, bumping into my brother, who was closing the buttons of his shirt.

"I can drive you, I'm late too" he panted and I eyed him suspiciously. He smelled of sex and his hair looked very disheveled. A waitress passed us and winked at my brother, at which he just chuckled, sending her a small wave.
"Oh my, when will you finally turn serious?" I sighed as we walked to my Golf.
"Now that you're getting married, I have to be the rebel sibling, you know?" he joked.
"Just... Please not the staff, it's weird! Mum and Dad are paying all of them, so that's... kind of... weird" I commented.

"Yeah, I still can't believe that Mum and Dad agreed to pay the whole wedding... Tío José told me that the security alone costs 2 million euros! I mean, it's not like Pablo can't afford it" he said and I sighed as I let my brother drive me the short distance to Seville's cathedral.
"It's not like they can't afford it either. I guess they just wanted me to have a free hand and not butt heads with Pablo's mum over details" I replied. Belen had come to terms by now that I was going to be her daughter-in-law and the mother of her grandchildren one day, but she still hadn't turned into my greatest fan.

We were allowed to park the car right next to the church as police was controlling the area. Lots of fans had already assembled today and definitely just caught a glimpse of Pablo arriving. When I got out of the car, I was also met by cheers and shouts of my name, it felt surreal. Tomorrow was going to be so huge, wow.
