Chapter 14: Advice Seeker

Gavi POV

I was definitely falling. Falling hard for her. She made me lose all my senses and after kissing her, I couldn't imagine any other woman's lips on mine. And I wanted to make her feel that, that she was the only one for me.

The next day at training, I knew what I had to do and I walked up to Lewy and asked him straight out: "Hey Lewy, do you think I can visit Anna and you tonight or tomorrow evening? I... need a conversation with you two..."
"Erm... Sure, I think today's fine, I'll ask Anna and text you" he said and patted me on my shoulder.

After training, my friends and I caught up in hallway before making our way back to the locker room.
"Guys, FIFA tomorrow at my place? We haven't done something together in ages" Pedri asked Ferran, Fermín and me.
"I'm in" Fermín said and Ferran and I also nodded in agreement.
"Let's hope Pablo won't have to disappear and play girl taxi again" Ferran laughed and even I cracked a smile.
"I really hope not." I chuckled. I definitely couldn't stand another scene like the one where she made out with that slimy finance guy right in front of me. Shit, was it already time for the relationship talk?
"Earth to Pablo!" Pedri said and patted my cheek.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I asked how you and that girl are doing!" Pedri said.
"I'll tell you guys tomorrow evening, I'm visiting Lewy tonight and I have to go" I said and waved at them before jogging to the locker room.

On my way to the Lewandowski's, I bought some flowers for Anna, one could never go wrong with that. She had cooked a lasagna that was looking great and we sat all around the table, when I told them the reason for my visit: "So... I met a girl"
Anna gasped and Lewy looked up and grinned at me.
"Tell us more!!" Anna exclaimed.
"Is she the one from the club?" Lewy asked and I nodded.
"It's not easy... We met at the Nations League Final, she interviewed me as she was filling in for another journalist. We met again in Ibiza with our friends and we had like two dates and at the last one it got quite... heated. She stopped me pretty soon but... I don't know what to do when one time we continue - you know, she's like... five years older and I don't want to be a total loser who comes after five seconds" I blurted out my fears.
"Ok, let's leave the physical aspect apart for a moment. Have you already defined some sort of relationship or...?" Lewy asked and I shook my head.
"Then take it slow. I know that you're young and eager and really want to be active, but it's a good sign she stopped you. That means she knows that it's something special which shouldn't be rushed" he said and Anna nodded.
"Sex is so intimate. Wait before you can really say she's your girlfriend - and then your fear about the physical aspect will also be less. When you love each other everything comes so much more natural instead of being just technical with no emotions" she said.
"Are there like things I totally shouldn't do?" I asked.
"Wait, but it's not your first time, right?" Anna asked and I shook my head.
"But she's the first one where I'd care" I mumbled.
"Always ask for consent when doing something new. And just be soft and loving in the beginning, you'll notice in time if she likes it more rough" Lewy said and smiled.
"And... you don't think it's weird she's that much older?" I asked. They hadn't said a word about the age gap, which was the first comment I had gotten from my friends.
"No. But you have to be 100% sure about her. She's at an age where she's looking for the One. She can't lose years of dating to a guy who isn't serious about her." Anna said seriously and I nodded.

After spending a bit more time together, I decided to go and get home. The next evening, the boys and I went to Pedri's place and I knew that I was getting questioned.
"Ok, we want to know everything" Ferran said as we all had our controllers in our hands and pushed the buttons, trying to make our players score on FIFA.
"She's cool, we met up two times, tomorrow she's coming to my place" I said and shrugged.
"What are you preparing?" Pedri asked.
"Um... I haven't thought about it yet" I admitted.
Fermín put down his controller and looked at me: "You seriously invite a girl over and 24 hours before you have no clue about what you're doing?!"
"Yeah, Pablo, if she's really as great as you say, you need to up your game" Ferran said.
"And what do you reckon I should do? She doesn't seem like the over-romantic girl who wants a trail of rose petals and candles on her table. She's just... relaxed and... clean? If that makes sense?" I explained.
"Thank God you have friends like us. Every girl loves good food, you could do a pizza night?" Fermín said and all of us nodded, that was actually a great idea.
"Ok, what else? Mhm, you should totally go for a walk after dinner, Sira used to love that" Ferran said, and my heart broke a little for him. He had been so in love with her and she broke his heart. Was I even ready for a heartbreak?

"We're coming after training to help you set up things, you need to look like you have your shit together and that starts with your apartment." Pedri said.
Yeah, I wasn't the best in that aspect, my suitcase from the team's trip to the USA still laid around somewhere, half unpacked. I hadn't done my laundry since... actually never, my mum always did it when she would come visit - shit the boys were right, I needed to pull myself together.
"And we want to meet her" Ferran said and I slung my arm around him. Man, I had the best life: my job was doing something that was fun and I got to do it with my best mates. On top of that, I had met the girl of my dreams, the only thing missing was a Champions League medal hanging over my bed.
