"... aaaaand then he kissed me" I said while blushing and my girlfriends all shrieked and gasped. After the occurrences of the past few days, I had invited them over to my place to have brunch to discuss everything.
"That is so romantic. I wish a guy would do that for me" Irene swooned.
"When are you seeing him again?" Ana asked.
"He's playing the first game of the League season tomorrow at Getafe. I invited him over on Monday evening, guess we'll just eat something and watch a movie or so" I replied.
"And do you think it's already time for the relationship talk?" Chiara asked.
"No, I think we'll just take it slow and see where it goes from there" I replied and the girls all nodded.
"How does it feel?" Ana asked.
"Honestly... it's a bit scary, not just the age gap, but just... how our careers will pan out, I feel like one can only live in the moment with him and I'm not that great of a risktaker." I replied truthfully.
"You'll have to tell him this" Ana replied and I nodded.
We spent the rest of the morning gossiping and talking, and Chiara volunteered to come over tomorrow to watch the match at home with me.

On Sunday around lunchtime, Gavi called me from Madrid after having flown out in the morning and he was a bit annoyed that he wasn't in the starting line-up today. He had recovered from his back injury, though Xavi said he lacked match rhythm for today - he was sure it was because of the Twitter pictures from this week, and I felt a bit bad about them as he had been in trouble because of me. But he was a grown man and it was his decision to come and play knight in shining armour.

The game was an absolute debacle. What should have been a comfortable win, turned out into a nightmare. All the players were very aggressive and booked for fouls everywhere. We dominated pretty much all of the game but the extra-kick or sparkle just seemed missing. In the 42nd minute we were down to ten men thanks to Raphinha who got a second yellow card. Then in the second half a Getafe player got also shown a second yellow, which balanced the game out a bit again. Then also Xavi got a red card because of him complaining about a foul on Abde. I just held my fingers crossed that we could make it out of that stadium with at least one shared point, it was looking disastrous. And in the 80th minute, Gavi finally came on for Gündogan, which made my face light up. He gave his everything in the last minutes and I couldn't stop being amazed by the passion he had for the game. He really went for every ball and every chance he had and didn't stop running for a second. When Araujo went down in the box, all Barca players immediately appealed for a penalty, knowing this would be their last and only chance to take home three points. But the referee decided against it and poor Gavi was booked with a yellow card because of his heavy complaining to the ref. Then there also was a short commotion because of a possible handball of him, but nothing came out of it. The game ended 0-0 and I knew that he was going to be extremely angry and frustrated by the poor result. Today should have been at least an easy 0-1 or 0-2 win.

As expected, Pablo wasn't in his best mood when he called me in the evening, but was still happy to have gotten some minutes of game and he hoped to be on the starting line-up again next week. Although at the end of our call he was very sweet, saying that he couldn't wait to see me tomorrow and asking if he should bring something, but I told him not to worry as I had it all covered.

I came home from the office around 6 that day to shower and put on something more casual, before I quickly prepared a Chicken Caesar salad. I definitely had to ask him about more healthy recipes that he liked as I had no clue what he was allowed to eat or not. As a dessert, I had played it safe and bought a fresh watermelon, that was definitely healthy enough for the pro athlete that he was.

At 8pm sharp, he rang the bell and looked handsome as ever when I opened the door for him.
"My Mum always said you never show up with empty hands, so I brought you some Jamón I brought back from home, I hope you like it?" he said a bit unsure.
"Oh my gosh, I love Jamón - and no one does it like the Andalusians" I said and immediately put it in my kitchen.
"Have you been often to Andalusia?" he asked curiously as I was preparing the salad to bring it outside.
"My parents live in Malaga" I replied and we went outside on my small balcony. We hadn't talked much about our families yet. "I'm going to visit them next week actually, we always do a week in Marbella at the end of summer, my brother also just moved back from finishing his master's, so it's going to be nice to be back together again" I said and smiled.
"Would you still want to come to our next game? It's on Sunday and at home... but only if you aren't already in the South." he asked.
"Um... I was planning on going by train so, I can still decide when to go. If you'd want me to be there, I'd very much like to come" I replied and that put a huge smile on his face. "Just not VIP tickets, I think that could maybe cause some... unwanted attention" I added and he nodded.
"I'll find a good place for you" he said and smiled.

After eating up, we moved back inside to my couch and while he just sat down, I laid down and put my head on his lap.
"There's a new Barca documentary dropping soon, you should definitely watch it" he told me.
"Ohh! We'll have to do a streaming party then!" I said excitedly.
"Yeah, I'd rather not watch myself embarrass me" he chuckled.
I sat up. "Oh come on, you've surely handled it like a pro. If you survived my questions I doubt that the guys from Amazon can make you sweat."
He laughed and looked back into my eyes.

We felt the electric connection and our lips found each other in a matter of seconds. Sweet kisses turned into more passionate ones and at one point, he grabbed me by my hips and positioned me on him. A small moan escaped my mouth as I felt him being hard under me and he took that as a signal to let his hands wander from my hair down my back. I tugged at his shirt, and in a swift motion, he pulled it off, breaking contact for just a few seconds before kissing me again. His hands wandered under my blouse and he slowly continued his way upwards, until he cupped one of my breasts over my bra. Another moan escaped my mouth and he shortly broke contact.
"Can I take this off?" he whispered, tugging at my blouse and I nodded.
"You are so beautiful" he said when he saw me in just my bra. I didn't know what to say, so I just kissed him again. After a few intense minutes of making out, his hands wandered to the clasp of my bra, but that was just a step too far for me and I pulled away.

"I think we should stop here today" I whispered and grinned.
"Yeah, sorry... it's hard to not get carried away" Pablo said and chuckled. He pressed a kiss on my cheek and pulled over his t-shirt again.
He then helped me to load the stuff into the dishwasher and when everything was more or less cleaned up he said: "Um... it's already late and I think I'll go now, but maybe you want to come over to my place on one of these evenings?"
"Yeah, I'm free on Wednesday and Thursday" I replied.
"Then Thursday it is" he said and smiled.
I opened the door for him and he pressed a kiss on my lips to say goodbye.
