🎶 The Heart Wants What It Wants — Selena Gomez 🎶I was rudely awakened the next morning by the sound of someone banging on my door. My eyes shot open and I found myself cuddled into Pablo on my couch, his arm draped alarmingly low around my waist. I quickly untangled myself from the embrace, almost tripping over the long dress I had been wearing since yesterday evening.
"What the hell do you want?" I asked annoyedly as I opened the apartment door to find my brother standing there, wearing a crisp white shirt with his initials on it, suit pants and a tie slung around his neck, not tied yet. I suddenly remembered that people actually went to work in the morning.
"Why are you wearing yesterday's clothes?" he asked bewildered. "I just wanted to check if you have some milk, mine was expired and-" he blabbered as he walked inside, but stopped in his tracks when he saw Pablo, just having stood up from the couch. Oh God."What the hell is he doing here?" he asked with a puzzled look on his face, his gaze shifting to the empty champagne bottle next to our two empty glasses on my coffee table.
"Um... he" I started, but didn't know what to say. Pablo was equally speechless. What was he doing here?
"Thank God you're at least both wearing yesterday's clothes!" Kike said, his eyes shifting from me to Pablo to the couch. "You're lucky I'm running late but the second you're free and in the city, we are talking" he said severely and pointed at me."Oh, and I need two tickets for the next Barca game, can you ask Luis? I'm taking my new girl" he said and winked. Of course he had to drop Luis' name in front of Pablo. And wait, what?
"What? You're dropping this bomb on me casually like that?" I exclaimed as he was scanning the inside of my fridge which was emptier than Jesus' tomb on Easter Sunday."Well, you're never around! All you do is follow hunky hot football players and looking glamorous on red carpets!" he teased me.
"Whatever. Just remember we have to be in Madrid next week for... that order thingy. You should cut your hair before that" I told him, realising that Pablo was still here.
"No way, I like it longer!" he defended himself.
"Pablo, say something!" I now included him in our conversation and he seemed surprised by that, having stood in my living room like a deer in headlights until now.
"Uh... I..." he stammered, but my brother cut him off.
"Yeah... I'm not taking advice from someone who traded caviar in for catfish" Kike said and closed the door of the fridge. "See ya sissy" he said as he walked out of my apartment and shut the door behind him."Well... I... better get going too. It was nice seeing you again, Vicky" Pablo said shyly and also walked out before I had the chance to say anything. My phone dinged and I quickly took a look at it, before rolling my eyes.

First draft for your book has to be in in 2 weeks!Ugh, fuck. I hadn't even started writing it yet as my schedule was so full with travelling and working, but now Pablo also occupied a great part of my thoughts. I took a look at the time on my phone display and cursed under my breath. I had to start packing as I was travelling to Mallorca for the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final and then tomorrow it was straight to Madrid for the other game. According to my calendar, Friday was free though, thank God - I really needed to start writing.
