🎶 Last Christmas — Wham! 🎶

Christmas was approaching fast, there were just a few days to go now, and with everything going on I still hadn't bought anyone a present. We would be celebrating with my Mum's brother, his family and Grandma in their house near Seville this year. I was looking forward to it, but that meant there were lots of people that had to be gifted and I was stressed out.

I was currently at a huge sports shop, trying to get my hands on the last few remaining Bellingham jerseys for my little nephews.
"Ouch! This is the worst possible outcome I could witness after your break-up" I heard someone say and I turned around to see Aurora's boyfriend Javi.
"Oh shut up, it's not for me. Don't tell anyone. Especially not..." I said, but trailed off. Saying his name was still too painful.
"I... won't" he said and also looked lost, it was a weird situation.
"How is he doing? You know, with the knee and all" I asked.
"You... care?" he asked me, sounding a bit surprised.
I fell into his arms and started crying. "Of course I do, I still love him" I sniffled. He didn't know what to do and just patted me on my back a few times, until I loosened the embrace and stepped back.
"Please don't tell him that" I said. "Goodbye. Merry Christmas to you and... you know, everyone" I added and turned around to walk to the cashier.

In the afternoon, I met with Martina, my/Vanguardia's PR person.
"You're really sure about the interview?" she asked me as she was scribbling stuff in her notebook. La 1 had asked for an exclusive tell-all with me and it was now scheduled for the afternoon of the 31st, as they expected to have a high reach in audience at that time. They wanted to make a huge thing out of it. Promo for it was already in the works.
"Yeah, I'm ready, Dr Reyes also thinks I am." I replied and nodded.
"Great, and you insist on doing it live?" she asked.
"Yes, I don't want them cutting stuff. It will be harder this way, but I want to control what I'm saying." I answered.
"But they will ask you about... you know" Martina said.
"And I'll shut them off by saying that this is a private matter." I sighed.

"Ok, talking about... a guy named Llorente from Barca's PR team has requested a meeting with you tomorrow, I don't know what it's about - he was being very secretive - and I don't know who will be there, any guesses what it could be?" she asked me after reading the next point on her agenda from her small notebook.
"He's the one who made me sign that NDA when Pablo and I started dating. I have no idea what he wants and I don't intend to show up as I'll already be on my way to Seville. You can go in my place" I said and she nodded.
"Ok, I'll call you afterwards if there's something you should know about" she replied.

"Ready to lose your sad girl image?" she asked me as we were packing up our things.
"Excuse me?" I asked confusedly.
"I called the paps on us. You can't always be pictured sad and depressed. You're the most incredible woman I've come across in my career and I... want to help you maximise your potential..." she said and shot me a sincere smile. "Show him what he's missing." she added and that hit me.
"Ok" I chuckled and she shot me a smile back.
As we made our way outside, we talked about our Christmas plans and eventually said goodbye as I had to rush to buying more Christmas presents as well as to my last appointment with Dr Reyes before the holidays.
