she had been drowsy all day, it was obvious she hasn't took her daily nap. looking after y/n was like looking after a baby almost.

not in a bad way, obviously. i only say that because if she didn't eat, or sleep she'd be your worst nightmare.

but then again there were times where she was too tired to be mad.

she was about to start making dinner for the two of us, despite the fact that anyone could see the eye bags under her eyes from a mile away.

"y/n have you slept today?" i came up on her side, my right hand snaking around her waist.

yet no reply, "cmon, answer me baby" i said as an order but with a soft tone, coming out less harsh.

her head shook, giving me the answer i was bound to get. "let's go get some sleep" i said, going to lead us to my room.

she stopped me at my tracks, giving me reason to turn my head and look at her. "carry me?" she smiled weakly.

my hands slipped around the back of her thighs, lifting her off the ground. her legs wrapped around my torso, she hugged my body quite tightly considering how weak she was at the moment.

we finally got up to my room, giving me a chance to lay y/n down; then taking my shirt off for comfort.

slowly she allowed herself to go under my covers, with the help of mine. i was quick to grab her, brining her close and never daring to let go.

i placed a hand under her top and onto her bare back as she loved the skin to skin contact type shit.

my other hand ran up and down her arm swiftly, letting the soft feeling of my touch hypnotise her into some type of sleep.

it wasn't long after when i got her to sleep.

my lips kissed her temple, then saying a simple but meaningful 'i love you' afterwards.

she looked perfect, even when sleeping. she never failed to mesmerise me with her looks.

i loved her, so much that no words will ever be able to describe the feeling.
