Mondstadt City, 9:01PM

All was well within the city. Barely a wink of activity roamed the streets under the summer night as the final few denizens turned to retire for the night. Naught but the scurry of rodents and the distant merriment of taverns filled the streets. The evening ahead promised to be an uneventful one.

"Just how I like it..."

A nun's heels tapped on the pavement, her dark coloured garb blending her figure into the shadows of the city. She rubbed away an evening nap from her eyes. The recent lack criminal activity was catching up to her, because without anything to make her nightly patrols worthwhile or entertaining, she was just idling away before her church duties began.

"Maybe I should get some sleep tonight...I don't think-"

Light poured out behind her, sharply casting her own shadow on the pavement. The once empty alleyway momentarily illuminated, an odd rodent or two scampered outwards from their covens. Rosaria manifested her weapon in an instant, leaping away to put some distance between her and the foreign light. But before she could even get a good look in, the light vanished, disappearing in a blink.

"Euughh...my head..."

And leaving behind a woman with a distinct pair of ears. Rosaria lowered her lance, the twist of familiarity causing her to lower her guard.

Related to Klee..?

The nun squinted, curious, but still stayed at a distance, waiting for the foreigner's first move. A muffled groan moaned out of the woman as she lifted herself up, trying to regain her bearings. Rosaria raised a brow, the woman was certainly well-kempt under the slight mess from her introduction. And judging by her confusion, it seemed that her appearance wasn't all intentional, if not completely accidental. Rosaria tucked away her lance, stepping out from the shadows.

Does she even speak in a familiar language..?

"...are you alright?" the nun approached, though still keeping a wary gap.

"English..? Ghh...my head...where am I?"

"How about we start with you first. What's your name?"

"Nella....Nella Velvete."

Surname's a little strange...definitely not related to Klee. Another one of Alice's acquaintances perhaps? Barbatos knows her circle is a menagerie of weirdos.

Rosaria sighed, a scowl tightening her features.

And I guess I'm the unlucky one to deal with it tonight...

"Alright...Nella," the name rolled awkwardly off her tongue. "Want to tell me how you uh...ended up like this?"

...

Dusk had long since fallen upon the city as Eula returned from her rounds. Like most days in the current season, her route had been quiet, with the only threat roaming about being a handful of wandering boars looking to graze over new pastures. Conjuring up her blade, Eula felt its weight upon her hand and frowned at the greater effort it took for her to hold it.

A little out of shape? Nonsense...

Nothing much had changed in her practices or daily routines, and it definitely wasn't a curse to be felled upon by a period of inactivity. But...

Gods...I'm bored. Perhaps I should call for a leave to spend a week up on Dragonspine.

Eula debated the matter as she delivered her report to Jean, the usual string of 'all is well along the routes', followed by the Grandmaster's smile and dismissal for the night. How Jean could keep this up with every report while busying herself with an infinite amount of paperwork, Eula would never know. But if the bags under her eyes were any indication of the woman's state...
