The ice cream shop was supposed to be empty, but it wasn't. Theo sat alone in his booth, nervously eyeing a circular table nearby, which was occupied by a group of four women who seemed to be his age, around their mid twenties. They were leaning in to each other, perched on rickety little stools, their sundress and booty shorts covered butts jutting out behind them as they whispered and giggled together. What are they doing? Who gets ice cream at 7:30 pm on a weekday, in the middle of exam period? When he'd walked into the campus ice cream shop, he'd thought there'd be one, maybe two people. But four women? He swallowed with trepidation.

Two of the women already had their ice cream, as they had arrived earlier than their friends. The dark haired girl and the blonde leisurely licked and slurped their spoons as they whispered with the others. The black girl was shaking her head with disbelief at something the dark haired girl said. The redhead was covering her mouth with shocked amusement.

A shiver passed through Theo as the redhead suddenly turned and looked right at him, and he quickly looked down at his table.

The women snickered even louder. He was getting really nervous now. He strained his hearing, trying to hear what they were saying, sneakily looking over in their direction again.

"... he really comes here every night?" the redhead was whispering.

"No, no, no," the dark haired girl replied, grinning indulgently. "He comes here every time she's working."

The girls all turned their heads to look at the counter at the end of the shop. Theo looked too. The woman scooping ice cream behind the glass counter wasn't just beautiful. Since Theo had first seen her all those months ago, he'd known she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. Her stunningly large breasts wobbled slightly under a white crop top and pink apron as she scraped up another scoop of mint chocolate chip. Her luscious, curly brown hair was tied back in a wild ponytail, sprouting out from the back of her pink baseball cap. The nametag pinned to her apron said "Clara."

She was too beautiful. As always, it felt odd to Theo seeing her in a normal place like an ice cream shop. No matter how many times he saw her, he couldn't believe her body was real. And those lips, with a shape like a physical manifestation of sexuality, lips that would surely set every cell in his body on fire if he looked at them too long. Besides being breathtaking, the beauty of her face had a commanding strength to it that made her downright intimidating, especially with those thick eyebrows that made her gaze paralyzing, and her wily green eyes that...

... that were looking directly at him.

Theo looked down at the table again. His face was starting to grow warm. He chanced another glance at Clara, which turned out to be a mistake. She was still staring at him, and as their eyes met, she frowned questioningly. His face became burning hot as he looked down again.

The women at the table next to him were whispering and giggling a little louder.

"Oh my god, he's blushing! Look at him!"

"Wait, so you're telling me he memorized her schedule?"

"He probably reads it like a religious text!" the dark haired girl hissed. "I used to visit Emily when she still worked here, remember? Well I saw him come in again and again, only when she's working!"

"He's got quite the crush!" the redhead giggled. "Does she know?"

"I mean, it's so obvious, right? If you ask me, I think she just likes the attention!" The dark haired girl paused her snickering to gasp. "Oh my god, here she comes!"

Clara was marching towards them, holding a mint chocolate chip sundae in one hand, and two other sundae's in the other. The bounce of her chest and the graceful wiggle of her hips was like a supermodel's, but even supermodels had a hard time pulling off the effortlessness with which Clara did everything. The make up she was wearing was subtle but still detailed, bringing out the softness of her lips and the intensity of her eyes. As she approached Theo's table, there was no customer service smile on her face, no expression whatsoever, except for a hint of superiority curling the corner of her mouth.
