Ainz felt his nonexistent stomach twist into knots. He'd thought of this a dozen times already but every time he pictured finally saying it he just imagined the floor guardians shooting him down and pointing out the flaws in his reasoning. Would this be what finally made them realize he was an idiot? Ainz ran a bone-y finger over his bone-y knuckle and fiddled with the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown. The daily maid on duty behind him wordlessly stood, awaiting her master's every whim, not realizing she only compounded Ainz's stress as he couldn't just sigh or slump on the Throne of Kings... If only he was in his meeting room in E-Rantel instead! No, something of this significance had to be met with the proper authority of a supreme ruler! Besides... Ainz had already summoned the two that would make or break his entire plan.

"Ainz-Sama. They are here." The maid bowed gracefully in front of him and spoke. Ainz nodded to her magnanimously, a graceful motion practiced a few thousand times in front of the mirror. "Understood." The maid's yellow locks bounced as she moved, her green eyes opened before she smiled and sent a signal.

"Thank you, Foire. Everyone else, leave us." Ainz spoke calmly and cooly as Demiurge and Albedo gracefully walked through the throne room. Demiurge's tail flicked the air as he casually noted the other servants and guards leaving. Albedo's breasts, hips, and wings all bounced in step, her eyes never moving from her beloved master. Whatever he had called them for must be of the utmost importance, so much so that all but the daily maid were ordered to leave. Albedo readied her mind and heart for whatever instructions would be relayed to the two most intelligent beings in Nazarick. The two Floor Guardians knelt and awaited Ainz's commands.

"Albedo, Demiurge, Thank you both for coming so quickly." Ainz greeted them, still mentally preparing for how he would BS his way through this. He knew what he wanted was morally right, right? All he wanted was the wellbeings of the NPCs, of his friend's wonderful creations. But they already voiced their complaints before for similar reasons. No. Just like with the regular maids, he needed to find a way to spin this. And of course the best two at spinning his words beyond his original meanings and falsely proclaiming his genius needed to be involved... though now that he stared at them both, Ainz's nonexistent stomach felt like it was doing barrel rolls. The ruby glints in his eyes shined as his empty skull thought of every business technique and kingly technique he could try to use, or perhaps the simplest would be best? If he merely stated, 'I want this' that had the greatest opportunity of Albedo and Demiurge misunderstanding and coming up with several suitable explanations for him!

"Of course, Ainz-sama. Whenever you call me I will always be there!" Albedo smiled happily, her wings flapping once, then twice.

"Indeed Ainz-sama, any Guardian would drop what they were doing mid-word and come to you if you asked, only a fool would dare make you wait on them," Demiurge spoke as well.

"Umu, still. Both of you are quite busy, and I am aware my request will be... burdensome." Ainz spoke. Immediately a hundred things ran through the two's minds. Had something bothered their lord? Had someone screwed up? Did he need them to deal with something so beneath him he felt ashamed in asking them? Or could he need them to change their plans due to his and Albedo's incompetence?!

"Absolutely not Ainz-sama! Nothing you ask of us could be burdensome!" Albedo responded quickly. Demiurge nodded, though he recalled several moments where Albedo had lost herself in frustration due to a restriction Ainz-sama had placed or a blessing he had given to some other than her. He smirked for a moment as he had never let his emotions consume him as Albedo's did! Albedo could not read Demiurge's mind, but her instincts told her he was thinking something about her, and something quite irritating. She dropped her gaze lower to Ainz's feet but gave one quick and deadly glare to her fellow Floor Guardian. Neither Ainz nor Foire noticed the quick burst of hostility, and Demiurge suppressed his urge to smile or even show he'd noticed it. Lest Albedo comes up with an annoying retribution of her own later.
