Lecha pushes up her glasses. A blue sheen gleams off of its lens as it rests on the bridge of her nose, a tender film filtering the light emitting from her monitor. Her hands laid idle on a black keyboard, eyes staring at an unmoving screen.

"Ah...man, I'm stumped."

Lecha leans back against her chair, the backrest following her weight downwards as she stares up at the ceiling. Her mind jumping between various things, she arbitrarily moves to re-tie her ponytail before sighing heavily.

"Yeah...maybe I need some inspiration."

A collection of photographs was displayed on her monitor, organised in no particular order. Lecha watches as her cursor grasps one of the many shots, dragging it around her screen with no apparent purpose.

"How should I make these pictures presentable..?" she murmured to herself, for the hundredth time.

A pair of azure eyes danced between the pictures as Lecha randomly shuffled them into different orders and proportions, sorting them out on a wide panel.

...

"Are you sure? Wait, wait. So let me get this straight. You want a website for the simple purpose of selling this lot?" Lecha couldn't help but almost break out in laughter.

"Yep, and I'm willing to pay you good money for it. I'll need you to handle the creation of the website as well as the marketing."

"Yeah...sorry. I just think that you're better off putting it up for sale through a third-party service. You'd be wasting money hosting your own website and paying me to both create something on it while attracting traffic."

"I see...hmmm, I hope you'll reconsider though. I've looked over your portfolio, your work has a unique feel to it. Can't quite put my finger on it to tell you how."

"Why, thank you. I appreciate the compliment. Anyways, call me if you still help on that marketing part."

"Yep, sure. I'll call you once I get a website going."

"Alright, have a good afternoon."

*beep*

"Wow." Lecha chuckled. "That was...unexpected. I really hope I've managed to talk some sense into the guy. He's seriously going to waste good money."

Lecha plopped back down on her bed, picking up an iPad underneath her unmade covers.

"Hmmm, let's see."

She pulled up an IKEA catalogue, meticulously browsing through their products, studying their presentation and techniques.

"Ooo, I remember this one." she squinted at a particular layout showcasing a set of furniture. "I still can't quite replicate how they break down the smaller parts of the whole set without cluttering the entire page."

"Oh! And this one, heh...I'm pretty sure I can do it better than them now."

She took a long sip of honeyed tea and smiled to herself.

"Yup, I can't let it go."

Lecha tossed her iPad into another mess on her bed. She made for the phone and dialled back her most recent call.

...

A cup made its way up to her lips. Lecha gulped down its empty contents before glancing downwards, only now noticing its lack of substance. She looked towards a standing calendar on top of her desk, multiple red circles dotted the boxes across the month of April. However, it was one circle, marked with a star in the middle, that gave rise to Lecha's irritation.
