A week had gone by since you and Sean sent Marie into hiding with Monroe and Rosalee. The house was unusually quiet since she left. Not to mention, Elizabeth officially moved out, moving into the Spice Shop and keeping it afloat. In order to not raise any suspicion and keep up appearances, you made the executive decision of having the shop open for appointments only. You had yet to hear anything from Sean's father or any of his people, and you were growing impatient. You often found yourself sitting in Marie's room, rocking in the chair, and holding one of her stuffed animals. This is where Sean found you. He leaned against the doorframe, watching you as you just stared out the window. He made his way over to you, kneeling next to you and brushing your hair behind your ear. Neither one of you said anything. You both knew that you were dealing with this emptiness in your own way. There was a gentle knock on the door. Sean looked over, seeing Meisner in the doorway.

"I apologize for the intrusion, but Nick and Adalind are here."

You looked over from where you were sitting, looking towards Sean. You could see the question in his eyes, and you simply nodded. You took a deep breath, taking Sean's outstretched hand, allowing him to lead you out of Marie's room. As you made your way down the stairs, Sean stopped just before you reached the bottom landing. He reached out his hand, cupping your face and running his thumb under your eye, stopping a tear from falling. Before he could say anything, you reached up and gripped his wrist, clearing your throat.

"I'm fine," you said softly, nodding at him, "I'm fine."

Sean nodded in response and took your hand, leading you into the living room where Adalind and Nick were waiting. Adalind made her way towards you, hugging you.

"I'm not even going to bother to ask how you are doing," she said softly.

You huffed a laugh as you hugged her back. "So," you said as you pulled away from her, "what are you two doing here?"

Adalind and Nick looked at each other, clearly both nervous about something. "There's... uh... "something we need to tell you," Nick said.

"Okay," you said slowly, "is this a good thing or a bad thing?"

"Uh," Adalind said as she looked towards Nick, "it's good? Just timing is weird."

"And we're sorry to bring this up with everything that's going on, but we felt that we needed to tell you both right away," Nick said.

You and Sean looked at each other, "Okay," Sean said, looking back at them, "What is it?"

There was a beat of silence, "I'm pregnant," Adalind said.

Your mouth slightly dropped; you sensed Sean tense next to you. Adalind and Nick slightly eyed each other, unsure of how you and Sean were going to react.

"Pregnant?" Sean asked.

Adalind nodded. You smiled as you reached out and pulled her into a hug. "Oh my god, I can't believe it!"

Nick sighed in relief, "You're not upset?"

You pulled away from Adalind and looked at your brother confused. "Why would we be upset?" Sean asked.

"Uncharted territory. Plus, everything that you have going on with Marie, we just didn't want to upset you," Adalind replied.

Your shoulders sunk at her admission. "Guys, I know Sean and I have a lot on our plate right now and having to send Marie away was probably the hardest thing we've ever had to do, but we really are happy for you both. I'm going to be an aunt!" You said as you hugged your brother.

"But for now, until we deal with the royal family, let's keep this just between us. If they find out there is another Grimm hybrid baby on the way, who knows what they would do," Sean said.
