"We have to find this cat," you said as you, Nick, and Monroe entered Juliette's clinic. "The doctors won't be able to do anything to help her if Adalind had something to do with it."

The three of you had just come from the hospital where you took Juliette after she passed out. The scratch on her hand was red and looked infected. The doctor's told Nick they weren't sure what the cause was, but she was currently in a coma and would call if there were any changes. You were following Juliette's vet tech towards the back where the cats were being kept. You were looking at each cage, reading the names until you found it, Adalind Schade.

"Majique? Seriously?" you said as you looked over to your brother and Monroe. "I almost feel sorry for this cat," you began to say until it lunged at the door of the cage, hissing, and growling at you.

"Oh, like mother like daughter," Monroe said, pulling you back as Nick got the cat into a carrier.

The cat screamed the whole way to the Spice Shop. It's carrier rattling in the back of Nick's truck. As the three of you walked into the shop, Rosalee came out to greet you.

"Maybe we should get a tranquilizer," you said as Nick sat it on the table, the cat hissing again.

Rosalee's eyes got wide as she watched the cat, "I'm going to go grab some supplies. I think we can sedate it long enough to figure out what Adalind used."

You watched as Nick grabbed his stuff. "Where are you going?" you asked, following him to the door.

"Adalind's."

"You really think she is still there?" you asked.

"Probably not, but maybe there will be something there that will give us answers."

You reached out and grabbed your brother's arm, "Do you want me to come with you?"

He shook his head, "No, you stay here with Rosalee and Monroe. You'll be safe here and they'll need your help."

You nodded, pulling your brother into a hug. "Please be careful," you whispered to him.

You felt Nick relax slightly at your hug, holding you tighter. "I'll call you if I find anything," he said as he pulled away from you and made his way out of the shop.

You walked over to where Monroe was staring at the cat. He looked up when you put a hand on his arm.

"I don't think it likes me," he said sarcastically.

"I don't think it likes anyone," you responded.

Rosalee came back from the back, carrying supplies. You took a box from her arms before she dropped it. You both laid out everything on the table, the cat continuing hissing and growling.

"Now what?" Monroe asked.

"We sedate it. And once that's done, we can try dipping its paws into a concoction that will tell us what the outcome of Juliette's prognoses will be," Rosalee responded.

Monroe raised an eyebrow, "You can do that?"

You shrugged, "It's science."

"I was thinking more like Wesen or Grimm witchcraft, but sure, science," responded Monroe.

You laughed. "Sometimes you have to respond to witchcraft with witchcraft," you said as you started mixing herbs together as Rosalee began boiling water. "And sometimes, it's simple science."

Once you both got everything mixed, you poured it into a ceramic pot that allowed the steam to escape. Rosalee placed a blanket over the cat's crate as you scooted the steaming mixture underneath, allowing the cat to breath it in. While you were waiting for the steam to knock out the cat, your phone rang.
