"Rosalee?" you walked into the shop, Nick, and your mom behind you. Rosalee walked out from the back, shocked to see who was standing next to you.

"(Y/N)! Um, the mixture is almost ready," she said with a nod.

You nodded back, "Good, you were able to find all of the ingredients?"

Your mom looked between the two of you, "Wait, what are you talking about?"

"(Y/N) figured out the curse that Adalind put Juliette under. Monroe and I managed to give Juliette a tincture that should have helped stop her from losing her memory, but this should hopefully wake her up. (Y/N) sent me a list of the ingredients so I could start mixing the counter curse."

Your mother looked at you, eyebrows raised, "You figured out what the curse was?"

You shrugged, "It was a sleeping curse. Think Sleeping Beauty but instead of a spindle, it was a cat claw." You nudged your brother, "Prince Charming here is going to break the curse, with a little help."

Sean and Monroe stepped out from the back after hearing you come in. Everyone stood awkwardly, staring at each other, or more so at your mother. You turned towards the shop door, turning the lock, and flipping the sign to show that the shop was closed.

"Ok," you said through a sigh. "My mother wanted to speak with Sean but I thought it best if we just rip the band aid off and we all meet together. Get everything out in the open."

Rosalee gestured towards the back, "There are chairs, if we don't want to awkwardly stand here."

You made the first move, grabbing Sean's hand as you headed to the back room, Monroe and Rosalee following behind. Once everyone sat down, you were all silent again, the tension thick in the air. As you were about to say something, your mother spoke up.

"What are your intentions with my daughter?"

You felt yourself freeze at the question. Monroe's eyebrows rose, his eyes getting big. You noticed Rosalee fidgeting in her chair. Nick closed his eyes, shaking his head as he lowered it into his hands.

Sean cleared his throat, "My intentions are to love her and protect her."

"Do you know how valuable and rare she is?"

"I am well aware of that," Sean said, slight annoyance in his voice.

"You realize how unpredictable a Grimm Healer can be? Yes they are healers and help the sick, but if threatened, they can become extremely deadly."

Monroe looked between you and your mother, "I'm sorry, what?"

"Believe me, I am well aware of the danger of pissing off the healer," Sean said, ignoring Monroe's question.

"How can we be sure that you aren't the one working for the royal family and going to hand her over to them? That you're not the one sending people to look for the key and the coins?"

"Mother!" you exclaimed. Sean's hand instantly grabbed yours, squeezing it.

"Because I am not my family," Sean said sternly.

"Are they aware that you are not only mated but mated to a Grimm?" your mother asked.

Sean swallowed the lump in his throat, "Yes, they do."

"Wait, what?" Monroe said as he looked on in disbelief.

"Why do you think they tried to have me and my mother killed?" Sean said.

"So, they don't know that she is a Grimm Healer?" your mother said.

Sean shook his head, "No. We didn't discover that until years later."
