Leon - Hospital Pt. 2

Leon x Female Reader

It had been three years since Ash last saw his older sister [Name]. The last he heard, she had been traveling around Galar with her boyfriend Leon. Ash was happy, though. She was no longer sick with cancer and living a happy life. Did he feel bad for not seeing her? Absolutely. That's why he was sitting in the shade of a tree with his pokemon, holding his phone up, calling her, and hoping she'd pick up.

It rang for what felt like forever. "0Ash?" Her face and voice finally came through. Ash smiled wide. She was so much different than how she looked at the hospital. Her hair had grown back and styled the way she used to. Her eyes had been filled with life once more, bright and sparkling, and her skin had a healthy glow. In fact, it seemed like she was glowing. "[Name]! I'm sorry it's been so long.." Ash said, a little dejected at the end. She waved him off. "Don't worry, Ash! We've been busy with travels too. We're in Unova right now. Where are you?" "The Paldean region! It's amazing here [Name]! You'd love it!" Ash's Pikachu came up on his shoulder. It saw [Name] and squealed happily. [Name] giggled, "Hi Pikachu! Ninetales misses you!" Her lilac Ninetales came into view of the camera, keeping happily at the sight of Pikachu and Ash. "Haha, hey Ninetales! It's good to see you!" On the other hand, Ash heard another voice. "Is that Ash?" The video blurred as Leon now came into view of the camera. "Hey Leon!" Leon grinned and waved ,"Hey Ash, how ya been mate?" "Great! I'm in Paldea right now!" "Wow really! That's awesome!" "You're taking good care of my sister, right?" Leon looked off camera, his eyes soft and full of love. "Yea... we're doing great. How long are you going to be in Paldea?" Ash shrugged, "Not sure, probably a while." Leon's grin got bigger,"Well, fancy a visit from me and [Name]?" Ash's eyes glowed happily. "Really!? That'd be awesome!" He heard [Name] laugh off to the side. She came into view again. Leon and [Name] squeezed in so they could both fit into the frame. "Yea, we're ready to move onto the next region. And I really wanna talk to you...in person I mean" [Name] smiled. She almost looked nervous. "I've been spending time in Mesagoza. That would be good. We can meet in the town square. When will you be here?" Leon looked at [Name], then back at the camera. "This weekend, we'll see you then Ash!"

A few days later, Ash nervously sat at a cafe table with Pikachu in the town square. A sandwich piled high with fruits and vegetables. He was excited to see his sister again, but what did she want to talk to him about? That's what was making him nervous.

A shadow overhead fell over him. He looked up, squinting through the sunlight, and smiled. A chrizard was on its way down to land. People around him watched for a moment before moving on with their days. The charizard landed, Leon waved happily, and [Name] peeked out from around him. "Leon! [Name]!" Ash stood up from his seat as Pikachu ran over. Leon hopped off charizard as Ash made his way over. Leon held his arms out, helping [Name] down. Ash was worried when he noticed Leon being so careful with [Name] as if she could break at any minute. Is that what she needed to tell him? The cancer had come back? But she looked so healthy!

As soon as [Name]'s feet hit the pavement and she smiled at Ash, he froze. His eyes immediately landed on [Name]'s protruded belly. She traced Sh's gaze and smiled, "Surprise?"
