You happily walked out of the storefront in Ballonlea, admiring the small dark red box in your hand. Your Espurr followed along happily, taking in all the twinkling, soft lights of the town. Why Ballonlea? Well, this was the first place you thought of when it came to beautiful jewelry. And this was probably one of the most important pieces of jewelry you'll ever purchase.

You opened the small box to look at it again as you headed into Glimwood Tangle. A thicker golden ring with a thin amethyst inlay. You even had it engraved on the inside. It read, 'Caught You Leon' and signed off with your initials at the end.

With this ring, you could propose to your boyfriend, the former champion Leon! Because dang it! This was the 21st century, and girls could be the ones to propose!

Espurr moved closer to you and it's fur was standing on end, but you didn't notice. You were too busy thinking about your plan for the proposal. You had told Leon that there was a specific spot that you wanted to paint at. The docks of Hulbury at sunset. And while this was a spot you wanted to paint, you also thought it would be a perfect backdrop for the proposal.

Your happy thoughts were interrupted by a growling sound. You deposited the ring box into your coat pocket and looked around. Your Espurr had a small glow around it, trying to detect the threat. A Morgrem popped out and hissed at your Espurr. It quickly hid behind your legs. "It's ok, I'll protect you.." You pulled out a pokéball. "Go Heliolisk! Use thunderbolt!" 'Heel!' It let loose a large bolt of electricity at the Morgrem, lighting up the woods.

Back in Bellonlea, Bede could see the woods lighting up. With a groan of annoyance he called the new Chairman. "Leon, it's Bede of Bellonlea" "Hey Bede! What can I do for ya!?" Leon's voice came from the other end. "There's something going in in Glimwood Tangle. Look into it, I'm busy." "I didn't hear please~!" A scream came out from the woods. "Alright alright I'm coming"

You, Heliolisk, and Espurr ran out of the woods at full speed. A horde of Morgem and Impadimp on your tail. "Go Go go!!" You yelled as you finally broke through the tree line. You let out a sigh of relief, "Everyone ok?" You asked your pokémon. Espurr looked OK, but Heliolisk looked like it could use some help, "Ok, pokémon center next then."

It was right as you entered the pokemon center that Leon flew overhead on his Charizard, right to the entrance of Glimwoood Tangle. "Ok bud, search for anything weird or anyone who needs help." Leon asked of his partner before entering the woods.

Everything seemed normal, but Leon could tell that there was definitely some kind of battle here. Some of the trees looked burnt and singed, but it didn't smell like fire. It gave off the faint metallic smell of an incoming storm, "An electric pokemon..hm..." Leon muttered to himself. Then he saw something glint in the grass.

Curious, he walked over to pick it up. He marveled at the gold ring with thinner purple inlay. It was beautiful, and just his style. "Someone must've dropped it..." He muttered to no one in particular. Examining the ring closer.

While you waited for the nurse to finish working on Heliolisk, you patted down your pockets for the ring box. But when you felt it, a chill of fear ran down your spine. You did pull out the box, but it was open, and the ring was gone. "No no no no no!" You muttered frantically. Tearing off your coat, you searched the pockets, finding nothing. You went as far as to check every nook and cranny of your clothes and your bag. "Espurr you don't have it do you!?" You asked your pokemon in a panic, but it just stared at you.

You hid your face in your hands and groaned with frustration. You saved for months to get that ring! You really wanted Leon to have it... "Miss [Name]?" The nurse called out. You walked up to the front desk where you were handed your Heliolisk's pokeball. "It's all better! Have a great day!" You gave her a half-hearted smile before walking out of the center.
