Piers x GN reader

You placed the final clean mug on the rack with the dozens of others you had, "Finally done. Ready Goo?" You asked your Goodra who was happily waiting in the main area. "Goo!" It replied happily, and you couldn't help but smile. You owned a small coffee shop in Spikemuth with your partner Goodra, who acted as mascot for your shop. Its image was on all the mugs and to go cups, and your shop was simply named "Goodra's Coffee House." Opening your shop was slow at first. Not many people lived in Spikemuth, and those that did were all part of the "Team Yell" fangroup, but you didn't mind. Once you changed your hours to be a nighttime coffee house for those coming out of the gym concerts instead of only being open during the day, you managed a steady flow of regular customers all in need of either a major caffeine boost to stay up the rest of the night, or a quiet cup of tea to help them sleep.

As you grabbed your personal things to head out and lock up for the night, you heard the bell at your front door ring. You sighed and stepped out to the front, "I'm sorry we're -" You stopped once you noticed who it was. Your best customer, Marnie, was in the doorway standing next to a tall man with black and white hair pulled into a large ponytail, his eyes seemed to have bags under them. "Hey ___, sorry I know you're closed..." she glared at the man next to her, "Someone couldn't go just a little faster on their motorcycle to get here in time." The man gave her a blank look, "It's not a speed machine Marnie. You still have to be safe and follow the speed limits and signs." You stared at the two as they bickering about traffic safety. The guy was cute, but you didn't expect Marnie to bring someone like him in. Marnie must have caught you staring, "Oh, I'm sorry ___. This is my older brother Piers. He was the gym leader until recently." You smiled brightly at him, "Nice to meet you Piers. I serve a lot of yours and Marnie's fans, but I haven't seen you around?" A tinge of pink settled on Piers' cheeks. "Usually, by the time I finished concerts, you're closed. I was in Wyndon speaking to Leon, so no concert tonight." You nodded. "We were hoping we could get some coffee? I know you're already closed.." Marnie asked before trailing off. You smiled, "Anything for my best customer. And I've got to show Piers how good my coffee is so he'll come back right?" You winked at Piers whose face grew pinker. "Uh, sure."

Marnie and Piers placed their orders, and you went back to put it together for them. You'd have to stay longer to clean up, but it was Marnie. Marnie was your very first customer and was the one who encouraged you to change your hours and get team Yell to come in. It was thanks to her that you were successful, so whatever Marnie wants, she can have.

While you were putting their drinks together and a snack for Marnie's Morpeko, you could feel a gaze on you. You shrugged it off, assuming it was your Goodra, but when you turned around again, you saw it was Piers staring at you. You blushed a bit at the attention from a handsome guy like him and averted your gaze. But Marnie saw the whole thing and was smirking at her brother and elbowing him, right as you set down their items. "Two large black coffees and a slice of banana bread for Morpeko." Marnie thanked you before letting her partner out of its ball to eat, with Goodra close by to make sure it didn't go crazy. You caught up with Marnie while you started the cleanup again. Piers stayed quiet during the whole interaction and just listened. By the time you finished, they had to go, so you decided to walk them out.

"Coffee was great as always ___. I'll see you tomorrow." Marnie waved, and you smiled, "Glad you liked it, get home safe." "Do you need an escort home too?" Piers suddenly asked. You shook your head and gestured towards stairs leading above your shop. "I live in a flat above the shop, I'll get home just fine. I can wave to you from the window if it makes you feel better?" It was meant to be a joke, but Piers nodded seriously. You didn't want to be rude, so you and your Goodra headed up and unlocked the door. Once inside, you went immediately to the window and opened the curtain, seeing that Piers and Marnie were still waiting below. You waved at them, and they finally set out for their own home.
