Marnie x Male Reader

"So....who are the Iron Mountains again?" [Name] asked, walking around with his friend and rival, Hop. Hop grinned, "Oh mate you haven't heard of them!? They're this new up and coming band from some other region. They're amazing!" Hop responded, but [Name] simply shrugged. "I mean I guess since you already got the tickets, it'd be rude to say no right?" [Name] offered.

Honestly, [Name] had never heard of this band in his life until Hop brought up the tickets. Guess he won them in some raffle over in Wyndon. But why not? Could be fun, and if he hated the experience he would just hold that over Hop to get him to do something that [Name] really wanted. And that is something he couldn't resist.

[Name] shrugged, "Alright when is it?" Hop smiled, "Wyndon next Friday! Trust me mate, you're going to have the time of your life!" he laughed and slung an arm around [Name]'s shoulder. [Name] rolled his eyes, "If you say so."

In truth, [Name] was actually surprised at how crowded the stadium actually was. Hop had always said this band was new, but the fanbase there made it seem like this band had been around for years. They couldn't be that good could they?

As [Name] was getting lost in his thoughts, he wasn't really paying attention and bumped into someone. All he could was grunt from the impact before he heard a girls voice. "Oof, hey!" [Name] turned to apologize, but when he did. He didn't meet with a girl's face, instead it was a big guy in a shirt with the dark type gym leader symbol on it, a vest, ad crazy face paint on that went with his hot pink mohawk. "Oi! You bumped into our girl Marnie!" The guy yelled out.

[Name] blinked and looked behind mohawk guy. A girl was standing there, with black pigtails, a pink dress, black leather jacket...and the most beautiful blue eyes [Name] had ever seen. His cheeks felt like they were turning pink just looking at her. And when she tilted her head quizzically at him, he was done for. "Oi!" The guy yelled at again, and [Name] winced at the proximity. "Hey sorry man, didn't mean to run into your girlfriend." he explained.

The girl suddenly laughed, and it was quite possibly the best sound [Name] had ever heard. "We are not dating." The girl said, squishing herself between the guy and [Name]. She leaned in and mumbled to him, "These guys like to think they're my bodyguards." She smiled a bit. [Name] chuckled, "Understandable, let me know if you wanna ditch 'em. I wouldn't mind ditching my friend either." They both looked over, where Hop was looking at some Iron Mountains merchandise and chatting it up with some other fans.

The girl and [Name] looked at one another and nodded, before taking off. "OI! WHERE YOU OFF TO!?" "[Name]!? Hey wait where you off to!?" Both the guy and Hop called out after the two of them, but they couldn't help but laugh as they ran.

"Where are we going!?" the girl asked while laughing. [Name] looked back at her and grinned, "No idea!" The girl laughed again, "I'm Marnie by the way!" "[Name]!"

[Name] and Marnie ran all over the stadium hiding away from that Team Yell guy, that's what Marnie called him at least, and Hop. Did [Name] feel a little bad about running from Hop? Maybe a little, but they did see him once while they were running, and he was already talking to other Iron Mountains fans that he met. Pretty sure Hop had forgotten about [Name] at that point.

"So you like Iron Mountains?' Marnie asked, with a bit of a sparkle in her eye. [Name] shrugged, "Actually I've never heard of them until Hop told me about this concert." He admitted. Marnie nodded, "Makes sense, they're still pretty new, but they're amazing. Their drummer Colton is amazing!" [Name] felt an uncomfortable sensation in his gut when Marnie said that.

Marnie blinked and felt her face get pink, "Oh I just admire the guy! He really is a great drummer, and I hear he's a great guy. He must treat his fiancé like the most special girl in the world." She commented. And just like that, the weird ball in his stomach dissipated. 'Odd...' [Name] thought. But he shrugged it off for now. He could think about that odd feeling later.

But that odd feeling never really disappeared. Every time Marnie grabbed [Name]'s to pull him into a hiding spot, or he looked into her beautiful blue eyes, or she even just smiled at him. [Name] felt like he could do anything, including outrunning her Mohawk guardian.

But before long, the lights dimmed and the crowd started cheering as the band was coming out onto the makeshift stage on the pitch. "This way, now that the show's starting he'll probably leave us alone for a bit." Marnie said. [Name] nodded and they squished into the standing room only section, and the band started to play.

The band, was honestly great. Classic rock and roll music. And whenever [Name] looked over at Marnie, with a big smile on her face. He felt so warm inside. Seeing her so happy was....amazing. This is probably first he had seen a proper smile on her face.

[Name] needed to take a chance. He had to. So reached his hand towards her, and grabbed it, gently interlacing their fingers together. Marnie looked up at him, her cheeks painted a brilliant pink. It felt so...right. Like right there, beside Marnie, holding her hand...it's where he's meant to be. [Name] leaned in to speak in Marnie's ear, so that she could actually hear him. "This has probably been the best night of my life!" He told her. Marnie looked at him and nodded slightly, her cheek still pink, "I feel the same [Name]!"

[Name] grinned and took a deep breath, leaning close to her again, "Maybe I can take you out sometime!? Like on a date!?" He asked her, his own cheeks starting to color. Marnie's smile ticked just a little bigger as she nodded. She leaned in close again, [Name] thought she was going to verbally say yes, and he needed to hear that. So he leaned in close too.

Marnie smiled slightly, and kissed it him. It was short, and sweet, and very surprising. But as soon as her soft lips landed on his...and he mentally recovered, [Name] kissed her back eagerly. Fireworks felt like they were exploding between the two. In that moment, in Wyndon stadium, to the music of Iron Mountains, [Name] knew that this was it. Marnie was his girl. And he would do anything to keep things that way with her. He wanted to spend his forever with her.
