THIRD POV

Agad na nabitawan ng Young Master Asher ang mobile computer na naglikha ng ingay. Nabasag din ito dahil sa lakas ng pagkakahulog.

"N-no! B-brother, tell me it's just a lie?!" Ang hindi mapigilang bulyaw na tanong ni Asher sa kanyang kapatid.

Wala namang naging reaksyon ang kanyang kapatid at nanatiling tahimik at walang pakialam.

"Didn't you just heard it?! Your wife died! She died during a plane crash!!" Hindi na napigilan ni Asher na sumabog sa galit. Malamig siyang tinignan at sinamaan ng tingin ng kapatid pero hindi natinag si Asher.

"I know you don't love her...nor hold any affection to her but I didn't expect you could be so heartless and indifferent to your ex-wife." Malamig na saad ni Asher at walang pakundangang iniwan ang kapatid.

Wala namang naging reaksyon ang Young Lord.

"Let's go" Maya-maya'y saad niya at tumayo saka dire-diretsong nilisan ang banquet.

No one has ever notice his movement.

SA KABILANG BANDA, nasa véranda ng kanyang silid ang Madam Evictrium at umiinom ng tsaa habang nakatanaw sa langit.

Bigla-bigla ay humahangos na nilapitan siya ng isa sa mga katulong ng pamilya.

"M-madam! T-the y-young l-lady is involved in a p-plane c-crash this a-afternoon." Ang habol hininga nitong saad na para bang tumakbo siya ng sobrang layo.

"What are you talking about?" Ang nagtatakang tanong ng Madam.

"T-they're s-still confirming it....b-but the a-authority said t-t-that t-there's a g-great possibility that i-its the lady who d-died together with the other airport staffs." Ang dagdag niya saka agad lumabas ng sinyasan siya ng Madam.

Pagkaalis ng katulong ay nabitawan ng Madam ang kanyang tasa ng tsaa. Bigla ding bumigat ang kanyang paghinga.

"W-what? I-impossible..." Ang di makapaniwala niyang saad. Unti-unti ay naalala niya ang sinabi ng kanyang anak.

"I'm leaving....vacation."

"W-what? H-how? I thought it's only a vacation?" Ang nanlulumo nitong saad saka napasalampak sa kanyang inuupuan.

"D-daughter....m-my d-daughter.....my daughter....what happened?" Ang mahina nitong saad saka napahawak sa kanyang dibdib.

"What have I done?" Ang tanong nito sa sarili bago nawalan ng malay.

Napahinto sa pagbabasa ang dalawang magkapatid ng marinig ang breaking news.

"A plane crash has occured here at Catacut Forest...."

"Three unrecognizable bodies were found. The bodies were almost burned due to the impact of the plane crash that caused the plane to explode. The cooperative is currently identifying the said bodies. However, they suspects that one of the bodies is the Young Lady Evictrium, Anasha Ravenese, because it was reported that she was one of the passengers on the plane."

"W-what?" Rhen blurted out with his eyes widened.

"Confirm if it's true." Riley coldly stated with a dangerous aura around him.

Both are nervous....didn't know what to feel....hoping that it isn't true.

Anasha's POV

I patiently watched how the doctor treated the pilot I saved who was shot by the assassin. The operation took an extra hour, especially since it wasn't easy for them to remove the bullet from his body.
