CHAPTER 34

THIRD POV

The deafening silence echoed through the lounge. Everybody was silent and maybe shocked.

They can't read each other's mind. Hindi nila malaman kung ano ang tumatakbo at pumapasok na isipan ng bawat isa sa kanila. Everyone was waiting for an answer.

"Since when, Valeria?" The First Young Master Whitlock seriously asked, blankly staring at the glass table infront of him.

The Young Master Valeria, sighed. He was already tired of his friend's drama.

"Well, I met her a few days ago." He confessed. Walang naging komento ang mga kasama nila maliban na lang kay Asher.

"Why? Why didn't you told us about it?" Asher asked calmly, supressing his irritation. He was frustrated and shocked at the same time.

"There will be no thrill if I did that." He replied, smirking. Asher has finally lost it. The corners of his lips started to form an evil smirk.

Daniel immediately became serious. Knowing Asher, he will surely be a beaten pulp.

"Thrill? You call this thrill? Well then, let me show you what's the real meaning of thrill." Asher's voice changed automatically. He was looking at Daniel with the intent killing aura. He seems to have lost his demeanor.

Daniel on the other hand, was surprised in Asher's reaction. He was not expecting something like this.

Kaagad na lumapit si Asher kay Daniel at kinuwelyo-han ito. He was in rage, glaring at his friend.

Sa nakikita ay napaseryoso na din si Daniel. He coldly look at Asher and spoke.

"What the f-ck are you doing? Huh? Nawawala ka na ba sa katinuan mo? Gather yourself!" Bulyaw ni Daniel at marahas na tinanggal ang pagkakahawak ni Asher sa kanyang kwelyo. Tinapunan niya ng masamang tingin ang kaibigan bago naupo muli.

"What's with that reaction, Asher? Why are you so angry at Valeria?" Maya-maya ay ang Young Master Heroux ang nagsalita. Kalmado lang itong nakatingin kay Asher.

"I'm mad because he didn't even tell us that he already knew where she is." May halong galit ang boses ni Asher sa sinabi. Napangisi si Young Master Lanvier.

"Lies. Why don't you just confess that you're envious?" Gulat na napatingin si Daniel at Riley kay Ammon. Devion suddenly scoffed while Asher fell into silence.

"W-what? T-that's not it! I'm only like this because I'm worried and shocked! She was my sister-in-law, shouldn't it be common for me to be like this? She is part of the family." Asher reasoned it. Tumango na lamang ang iba kahit hindi sila kumbinsido sa sagot ni Asher. Si Ammon ay nakangisi pa din.

Suddenly, Asher felt the intense cold gaze coming from behind. Nang lumingon siya ay sumalubong sa kanya ang malamig na tingin ng kapatid.

He was with his Secretary, who was looking coldly at him too. He ttied to calm down. He can't let emotions get ahead of him, again. He sighed, then look at Daniel.

"Sorry, bro. I let my emotions get ahead if me." He apologetically said. Daniel only smiled. They made a fist bump and started to laugh.

Napailing na lamang si Secretary Clark sa nakita. He heard the whole conversation a while back. Aaminin niyang nagulat din siya sa tinanong ni Young Master Lanvier.
