One of the goons opens the cage as the other two guided (Name) towards it. "(Name)." Cordell whispers in shock, a part of him unable to believe that she was the one Sean targeted.

"(Name)!" Cordell exclaims as (Name) is tossed into the cage, falling to the ground. Cordell immediately goes to check on her, helping her sit up as the goons lock the cage. "Hey, hey, hey, hey. Look, look at me, hey, take it easy. Take it easy. No, no, no... don't move."

"I'm fine. I'm fine, I'm fine, cowboy. I'm fine." (Name) said as the goons headed for the door. Cordell looks away from (Name), waiting until the goons have left before turning back to her. "Okay, what happened? Wh-Wh-Why are you here?"

"They f... they found me." (Name) replied, thinking back to moment she was taken in the parking garage. "They... Okay, okay, uh... What about the kids? My brother?" Cordell asked, holding her hand to help keep her grounded.

"They're all right. Everybody's okay. We're just looking... looking for you." (Name) muttered and Cordell exhales. "Do you remember the Mitchells? They-they got a trail cam of the plates of the van that took you, so..." (Name) informs him.

"Okay." Cordell said, nodding. All they have to do now is hold on, he trusts James and the other rangers to find them in time. "Hey. The cavalry should be coming." (Name) said to reassure him more than herself.

"Yeah, yeah, okay. That's great. We just got to..." Cordell said, looking away and exhales. "We got to just hang tight, you know?" He said and (Name) stares at him, sensing something. "Cordell."

"Yeah?" Cordell asked. "What? What aren't you telling me?" (Name) asked and Cordell turns back to her, nonplussed; his jaw works speechlessly before looking away again. "Hey, you tell me. You tell me right now. We are gonna get out of this together. You're not gonna pull some Walker Lone Ranger and risk yourself for me."

"(Name)..." Cordell mutters, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "Hey!" (Name) exclaims, grabbing hold his neck and forcing him to look at her. "Listen to me. Promise me." She pleaded, tears prickling her eyes.

Cordell stares at her, the tears forming in her eyes were like a stabs to the gut. (Name) removes her hand from his neck and held it out to him. "Promise me." She begged, tears trickling down her cheeks.

Cordell watches as the tears ran down her face for a moment, his eyes darting down to her hand. He takes hold of it, gripping it with both hands in a firm grip as he returns his eyes to meet hers. "I promise."

(Name) lets out a soft sigh of relief and Cordell pulls her head into his chest, holding her close as he rest his chin on top her head. (Name) clutches his bicep tightly, afraid of losing him again.

In the morning, Ranger HQ was packed with all the rangers scrambling to find a lead on Cordell's location or who took him. "Great, yeah, looks good. All right, take that, follow that, appreciate it." Cassie said to another ranger as her phone starts ringing.

"Cassie. A word." James called as she took out her phone. "Yes, one second." She said, holding up her index finger in a wait gesture before she answers her phone. "Hey, Abeline, what's up? Can't talk right now."

"I know, I'm sorry. But I wouldn't be calling you at work if this wasn't important, but, um, have you seen (Name)? She left to do some shopping for me and... and she never came back." Abby explains, anxiously.

"Have you called, texted?" Cassie stammered, a little bit agitated. "Yes, of course. None of us have heard from her. I think her phone's off." Abby replied. "Wait, wait, wait, what, her phone is off?" Cassie asked, seeing her concern now.

"Yes. This isn't like her. Liam and Ben are driving around looking for her now. But with what happen to Cordell and now this, I'm afraid something might've happened. The thought of..." Abby said, frantically.
