(Name's) P.O.V
I tossed down the last bale of hay to the ground and let out a heavy sigh, wiping the sweat off my brow. I walk out of the barn, heading towards the house when Cordell suddenly appeared from around the corner, both of us nearly crashing into each other.

I look up at him, smiling and open my mouth to say something but he grab my hand and held his other hand up, pressing a finger to his lips and signaling me to be quiet. He then place that hand on the small of my back, guiding me around the barn and out of view.

I gave him a confused look until he place me against the wall, letting go of my hand to place that hand on the wall just above my head and the hand on my back slides to my waist. I stare up into those gorgeous hazel eyes of his, feeling like something was caught in my throat.

Cordell smiles down at me and lower his head, placing his soft lips to mine and giving me a very sensual kiss. I let out a pleasant hum against his mouth as I eagerly kissed him back. Our noses were smooshed together as he tilted his head to better angle and pushes his tongue inside my mouth.

After what felt like an amazing eternally, he pulls away to allow us both to breathe. A string of saliva connected our mouths until it broke as we breathe heavily, staring deeply into each other eyes, our noses lightly brushing up against each other from how close our faces still were.

"Hi." Cordell whispered in a sexy and husky voice that sent a shiver down my spine. "H-hi." I stammered and he chuckles. "That's... that's how you say hello? Now I'm curious of how you say goodbye." I said, smiling at him.

Cordell hums and leans in again, his lips lightly brushing against mine as his hand on my waist begins sliding up my body. I groan in delight, closing my eyes and waiting for our lips to connect once again.

"Rise and shine, (Name)!"

I groaned as the wonderful dream I was having was stripped away from me and I was pulled back to the waking world. I open my eyes and turn my head to see Cordell standing over me with a cup of coffee and a big grin on his face.

"What are you? A dog that wants out at the crack of dawn?" I asked in a raspy voice. Cordell chuckles and flips on the light for me, causing me to groan and turn my head away from the sudden bright light.

"Cordell is like 6 in the morning. I did not call for a six-foot-four grinning busybody alarm." I grumbled, sitting up and brushing my bed hair out of my face. "Sorry, I-I just came to let you know, uh, we are having breakfast at the Side Step. And you're coming. Uh, Liam's on his way and I already woke up my parents to let them know." Cordell explains, handing me the cup of coffee.

"This couldn't wait till the sun was up?" I asked, accepting the mug and taking a sip. "Nope! Everyone already getting ready and you don't want to be left behind do you?" Cordell asked, raising his eyebrows.

"You're making me miss Chicago." I grumbled. "Oh, come on. You know your life would be painfully boring without me in it." Cordell said, nudging my shoulder. "I chose not to comment on that." I retorted, taking another sip of my coffee to hide my blush.

"That's what I thought. Now come on!" Cordell said, lightly slapping my knee that's cover by the blanket. "Up and at 'em. Early bird, gets the worm, remember?" He said, walking out of my bedroom. "What's gotten into him?" I asked myself and took another sip of my coffee.

We gathered at the Side Step and sat down down at a table to dig in for breakfast. "All right, here's the, uh, here's the bacon." Cordell said, coming out of the kitchen with big plate full of beacon. "Put it here." Bonham said, moving his coffee cup closer to his plate to make a spot on the table.
