Bonham is cooking bacon at the stove when Cordell walks into the kitchen, dress for work. "Morning, Stella." He greeted his daughter, who's seated at the counter. "Morning." She replies. "Morning, Daddy." Cordell said to his father, going for the coffee pot. "Good morning."

"Uh, Mama know you're messing with her favorite bacon skillet?" Cordell asked, pouring himself a cup of coffee. "She left me in charge. Don't fret." Bonham replied as Cordell walks over to him. "Well, it's your..." He said, reaching to steal a bacon. "Hey!" Bonham growled, slapping his son on the wrist with his spatula.

"She got word that some farmer's market up in Odessa's selling some kind of a rare chili pepper, so..." Bonham explains as his youngest son enters the kitchen with (Name) shuffling in behind him.

"The T-Rex Chocolate Chili Pepper. Melt your damn face off." Liam said, pouring himself a cup of coffee. "What are you doing today, Uncle Liam... baling hay?" Stella asked, giggling.

(Name) takes a seat at the counter, with her hands in her lap and her shoulders hutch up, as if she was trying to cave-in on herself and appear smaller and not as important.

Bonham place the plate of bacon next to her, giving her an encouraging look to eat. (Name) hesitantly reaches her hand out to take a bacon and begins nibbling on it. "No." Liam said to Stella and chuckles.

"(Name) agreed to try equine therapy with me, actually. Uh, I found a therapist that makes house calls. Or horse calls, as she puts it. Um, but we're going over to the Davidson's to the pipe corral. I talked to Colton about it." Liam explains as Cordell sits down at the counter too, placing his ranger boots on the countertop until he receives a stern look from his father and places them on the floor.

"Um... hey... Cordell?" (Name) said, quietly as she lifted her head to look at him from across the counter. "I uh... I know you've been doing your own thing... but I uh... I don't know... maybe if you have time... you'd want to join us." She stammered, talking so timidly like any ounce of self-confidence she once had was drained out of her.

"Uh..." Cordell mutters and gives a short lived chuckle. "Really, I-I'm good." He said, dismissively, avoiding her gaze and Liam shoots him an angry look while (Name) dejectedly drops her head back down, wishing she had kept her mouth shut.

"Stella!" August exclaims as he enters the kitchen through the backdoor. "You used the last clean towel." He whined. "There's more in the dryer. I told you this." Stella retorted. "Ugh. No, you didn't." August growled.

"Augie is just mad because I have the bigger room and he wants it." Stella said to the others. "Okay. You said I could have it when you left for Sauber." August argued. "Yeah. And I never left. Ergo, the room is still mine. Back me up, Uncle Liam." Stella said, turning to her uncle, who held up his hands as if signaling to be left out of it. "From a legal point of view..." Stella begins to say.

"Stella, Stella." Cordell said, loudly to get her attention. "Stella, I think we're all just trying to wrap our heads around this new reality of you not going off to college. Myself included." Cordell told her.

"Speaking of which, what do you plan on doing with yourself now that it's not Sauber?" Bonham asked Stella, whose mouth hangs open as she looks around at all that awaiting eyes on her. Being put on the spot about deciding your future right after high school can be quite anxiety inducing.

"Well, I th... I think... I mean, I mean, like... You know I-I really like helping people, so, something like that?" Stella said, anxiously and unsure of herself. "Helping people is great, obviously. But, um, that's not... a plan." Cordell told her and Stella frowns, feeling like her father wanted her to have everything figured out overnight.
