"You can't leave."

"Watch me." Star slammed the door and Diamond followed.

"You'll die without me."

"Then so be it. I'm sick of looking at you," He seethed.

Star had woken up rather cranky, and Connie was busy today. They would have to solve this themselves.

The pair walked in silence, Star clumsily stomping over the sand and grumbling under his breath.

"Connie would be sad if you died," Diamond said.

The human stopped in his tracks for a moment. "Well you're still following me so I won't."

"But you want me to stop." Diamond stood next to him, knowing what would happen next.

Star punched him square in the face and he let him. He didn't react, but grabbed Stars hand to survey the damage.

He had punched him fairly hard, and his knuckles glinted a bit with blood under the cuts.

Star sulked as Diamond forced him to unclench his fist. He leaned down a fraction to presumably heal it, then paused.

He dropped his hand. "I'm not going to heal you this time."

"Then don't! I didn't ask you to!"

"Consider it a lesson in humility."

"A lesson in humi– you're lucky I don't punch you again!" His face was red with fury as he shouted at the unbothered diamond.

"No, you're lucky you don't punch me again." Diamond rebutted coldly.

With that, he turned around back toward the house.

Star followed.
