Star and Diamond looked on in horror as the washing machine overflowed with water and bubbles. It shook violently and more water gushed toward them, Star just barely missed it but Diamond levitated above it.

"I knew we shouldn't have shoved every towel we have and all of the blankets in there." Diamond sighed.

"It didn't seem like that much, right?"

"No, it really didn't. But apparently you were wrong." He grunted with disapproval as another huge cascade rushed across the floor.

"No," Star said climbing up onto a chair. "We were wrong. Take some responsibility for once."

They watched it shudder and shake, now exuding pure foam and suds from the edges of the hatch.

"We're gonna get our asses kicked," Star croaked.

"We? Maybe you will, but I can hold my own." Diamond said confidently.

"Guys I'm... home." Connie surveyed the damage and sighed deeply. "Never a dull moment with you two. Alright, grab some cleaning supplies while I swim across our kitchen to turn off the washing machine."

"Oh my god–,"

Diamond facepalmed. "We could've turned it off."

"We could've turned it off." Star agreed solemnly.
