When Connie had come home from a stressful day at work, she'd hopped into the shower immediately.

The hot water did nothing to break the tension in her shoulders and back but it was nice, and she allowed herself to feel nice in turn.

She stepped out and put on one of Stevens shirts, and a pair of shorts. It slid off of one side, giving her what she could only call a tired mom look, which in some ways she supposed she was.

All of the lights were off in the apartment, which was strange. She started fumbling for the light switch, conveniently forgetting where exactly it was.

Hushed voices reached her ears and she rounded the corner to see the bedroom glow with flickering light.

"Star? Diamond?"

"Yeah, we're in here," Star called.

She was surprised to find candles lit and their white bedsheets covered with real rose petals. Normally she would have scolded them for possibly staining it. But she couldn't do anything but murmur waveringly, "You guys didn't have to do anything special. You're split. I-it's not about me."

Star shook his head. "Oh hush. Lay down so I can start working at your back."

It was oddly demanding, and she tried not to be a dork as she did as he had asked.

He straddled her and pressed his thumbs into her lower back. "Oh, that's nice," she said breathlessly. She flipped her head to the other side to see Diamond standing in the corner with his arms crossed, studying her. "Hi, Diamond."

"Hello," He greeted with the slightest tinge of enthusiasm for her safe return. "How was your human cleansing ritual?"

She winced as Star hit a sore spot. "Please don't call it that. Just call it a shower," She pleaded. "It was good, but I'm still tense. Work is stressful."

He nodded and she closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation of being spoiled.

When he reached her shoulder blades, a lewd moan escaped her and she sighed.

He froze and she opened her eyes to see the two men staring at each other with annoyance. Apparently, it had caught both of them off guard and both wanted the other to leave, so they could have her for himself.

"Get lost," Star growled.

"Unlikely."

"Oh my god, we are not doing this again," Connie griped.
