Affection

Connie climbed onto Diamonds lap with a winning smile. "Hello."

Diamond narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What did you do?"

She gasped. "I didn't do anything! Stars asleep and I figured I'd come over and bother you."

"You're never a bother, Connie," He said immediately.

"It's a turn of phrase. I meant I'm coming to spend time with you." She chuckled.

He made a face of annoyance at his lack of knowledge. He rested his hands on her waist. "Okay..."

She giggled and nuzzled into his neck. She would never say it out loud, but she loved having heaters as boyfriends. Their warmth was one of her favorite things in the world and it made her frisky and excitable. She pecked his neck and hummed.

He took a deep breath. "What was that?"

"Affection."

"Strange," He commented thoughtfully. "It's always strange. Diamonds are not affectionate gems." His hands pressed her harder against him. "Do it again."
