Three weeks later, Alaric has ended the school term and devoted all resources to finding out what happened to Landon Kirby. He remarks that he would've previously thought one life worth sacrificing to save a town, but becoming a father has changed his outlook and now they must do everything they can to save Landon.

Eli has the wolves keeping an ear out for him. Derek ask witches doing locater spells and Kaleb has vamps asking if they've seen Landon. Because he's... missing for a lack of a better word.

Rafael has been doing what he can to find his brother. But Eli can tell how hard he's being on himself, so he tells him to rest and he can began his search again.

Eli wonders though on how Landon just disappeared. And why it happened.

He's also been training his ass off. His martial art skills have sharpen so much. His tracking skills are also getting more and more good. He's hoping that he'd catch a scent of one Lycaon. Or one of his pack members that could lead him to his leader.

And speaking of pack members, Eli's school pack is staying at The Lockwood Mansion as he wants to make sure they're in control and are working on taping into their wolf forms at will. So far they've gotten the Glabro Form right off the bat. It was a bit hard for them to work on their Crinos Form seeing as the form is just as big as the Hispo Form. At least they can turn into their werewolf form at will. But also, he wants to make sure they can control themselves on full moons before he even thinks of sending them home on any holidays. Because should their primal instincts take over, the amount of bodies will be huge. Hence why all wolf packs are to remain in Mystic Falls, at the Lockwood Mansion.

Eli hasn't inherited his mansion yet. He will think of it as a temporary place to hold out, provided they don't make a mess and Eli will have a field day with them. Plus another reason why Eli gave them a place to stay until the school opens up again, is because he wants to keep an eye on Rafael. The dude is moody as hell. Not that Lockwood blames him. He had a younger foster sibling name Grace.

He was so protective of her that anytime she accidentally did something, he'd take the hits for her, because she was seven. He used to read stories to her, play with her, cooked for her and helped her with school work.

When it was time to adopt her, Eli encouraged her to go and be happy. And will try and visit when he can. But now that he's here in Mystic Falls, he feels like he's broke that promise.

After consorting with someone about an artifact, Alaric checks with Eli's uncle, who's just got off the phone with his business associates.

"Coffee?" Vinny offered.

"Thank you. It's a nice place you got here, Mr Lupo."

"Call me Vin. My family called me Vinny." The head of the Lupo family took a sip of his coffee and glanced around the place. He kinda missed the one back home. "You know when I heard that Eli's father, Tyler Lockwood, was killed, I begged Eliane to bring him home to us. All the things he went through, I'm surprised he's still holding up."

"Yeah back then, we didn't know Tyler had a kid. Which made it all the more sad. You know I killed him. Damon I mean. After Tyler's funeral, Matt and I subdued him and I staked him. But Cade brought him back." Alaric explained.

"Yes, you told me about that. Though if you ask me, the real Lord Of The Underworld or Hell as you call it, wouldn't have been that easy to kill. And he wouldn't be interested in collecting that much damned souls. In fact my wife had a theory about one of the gods from Greek Mythology. Hades. She believed that he wasn't as evil as some depicted him. He's just doing his job. As ruler of the damned souls. And judging from what you told me, this Cade is or was nothing more than a psychic entity who feeds off of the souls. I might even compare him to a soul eater if anything else." Vinny is similar to his nephew, Eli. Always studying mythologies and other supernaturals. "Anyways, my sources haven't found any traces of Landon. And Derek's father is searching the prison world's via astral projection. Still nothing."
