Chapter 27 - happiness

Jaxon's POV

"NO FUCKING WAY," both Finn and Dad say at the same time. Esme laughs out loud and my mom is smiling so brightly that I think Hunter has become majority confused as he didn't get here until after everyone else.

"See what Esme has gifted me for an early Christmas present"

With curious faces on their faces they go to the box and Hunter Gasps so loudly I think his balls fell out.

"YOUR PREGNANT!!" Finley says with a beaming smile on his face.

He's quick to jump on Esme and give her to most biggest hug I have ever seen him do. They're both laughing and when they're done he lifts his head to reveal the tears in his eyes.

"Oh, little brother don't cry!!"

"5 minutes Es...."

We all start laughing because they always say the older twin never lets the younger one forget about it and there have been several times where she's reminded him of this which makes me laugh.

My dad comes to hug me and congratulate us on this big news! My brother and Hunter both pounce on Esme and pull her into a big hug which she happily accepts and gives them one back.

"You've blessed with me a nephew I see" Charlie says with a wink to both of us.

"It could be a niece," Esme says with a huge smile on her face even though morning sickness has been a total arse to her.

"Even better!" Charlie beams. He comes to my side and pats my back and tells me he's a proud brother and I couldn't be prouder of how she's handling it. All she's been through and everything she's had to endure and this gift...is the most magical gift I have ever been granted.

After an hour of chilling with my family and friends, they all head out so Esme can have a shower and get some sleep before we all watch a film downstairs with a takeaway.

"This is the best gift I have ever received. Why would you think I would be mad about it?"

"Because I didn't know if you wanted a pup. Pups were never spoken about and I didn't want you to feel like I'm trying to chain myself to you this way because I'm not I promise"

She flicks the shower on and I help her out of her top and bra and now I see it...the little bump that's coming along beautifully. How didn't I notice it before

"I covered it up at night time. Over the last week, I haven't slept naked because obviously, you would see it."

They always say an Alpha never bows before anyone or anything and here I am about to do the one thing I have never known anyone to do before and I'm bowing in front of my beautiful woman and kissing her belly. The belly that's carrying my pup.

I go into my room which will soon be our room when I ask her to move into it with me and I grab 2 towels. One for Esme and one for me. She said she wanted a shower and I wanted to join her and show her how much I appreciate her while I still can.

I sneak in and unbuckle my belt to my suit pants while removing everything I have on me and I place them on the sink while taking my shirt and tie off and joining the love of my life in the shower that's most likely like fire because apparently, it's too cold if it doesn't make your skin red.

I snake my arm around her and pull her closer to me, she presses herself up against me and leans her head back. She's smaller than me so I can see her bump from here and I'm already counting down until I can hold my little princess or my little man. Esme has her eyes closed and I can't help but admire her from here.

"Will you stop staring at me?" she asks while laughing.

"I can't help it. You are too gorgeous not to stare at."
