Jaxon's POV

It was a warm morning and I was glad that we were heading into a good summer, which meant for a summer morning everyone ate outside or played outside all the time, the children had every chance to go inside throughout the day but once the weather gets too warm but once the pool gets put up in the centre of the gardens or the BBQ gets brought out there is no hope that any of them will go inside. Today's morning was no different, the sun was shining, and the birds were chirping. I woke up with a smile on my face, looking down at Esme who was fast asleep and cuddled into me with her legs locked into mine.

I give her a gentle kiss on her head which only gives me the biggest erection going because she moves and instead of moving backwards she moves forward...into me. Opening her eyes she looks up at me as she slides her hand down my boxers and into what I can only assume is central heaven for her right now.

Getting woken up this way properly is the best feeling in the world and it only sets me out for a good day ahead. Knowing that today was going to be a busy yet an exciting day was great as we have some meetings to get through this morning and then the rest of the wedding planning done this afternoon with my mom. My dad has avoided it all because he would rather look at the shrubs in the garden than listen to wedding stuff but Esme had sent a letter to him the other night and posted it into the mailbox for him the next day which I think made him cry...he didn't admit it but I think it made him cry. July has always been a busy month for our pack, as the children finish school for the summer break. But this year was extra special, as me and Esme will be getting married in a matter of weeks.

As I got ready for the day, I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness and nervousness at the thought of our upcoming wedding, My mom and dad always kept their wedding photos stashed away only for them, I couldn't wait to see her in her dress walking down the aisle to mee...It has been a wish for months now and it will soon be real! Esme and I had been together for only a year now, yet we had been through our fair share of challenges. But our love had only grown stronger, and I couldn't wait to officially make her my Luna.

Walking down the stairs I hear Charlie shout me into the kitchen. Making my way there with Delilah in my arms ready for her morning bottle there's a stack of letters on the table but two letters addressed to Esme and Finley. I turn them over and they are from their previous pack as it has their stamp on them with a return address to Elizabeth West...Their Deceased mother.

As I walked through the halls in search of Esme and Finley I couldn't help but feel a twinge of confusion as to why they would receive a letter and not the other two. Right now if Alpha Dylan came back and told us we needed to let Frankie and Max go back to their pack we wouldn't be able to say no as they aren't exactly connected to our pack yet and I would have to speak with the opposing council to see what I can do to make it official, I could hear whispers and giggles from the pack members but my mind was elsewhere right now and hopefully, it's a letter of an apology for everything they did but I guess not. Passing by everyone was nice when listening to them all talking about the upcoming wedding or the summer ahead and the plans they want to make. Games day, late-night picnics and runs etc. I couldn't help but smile at their excitement which matched ours recently. Our love story had been an inspiration for many in the pack, and I was proud to be able to share this special day with all of them.

I made my way to the office after Mind-linking the twins to come to the office but heard back from Esme straight away to tell me that she was already there busy finalizing the last-minute details of the wedding. As I entered, she turned around with a smile on her face. My breath caught in my throat as I took in her beauty. She was wearing a simple white dress today with sandals on, her hair cascading down her back in loose curls. She looked like an angel, and I couldn't believe that she was soon going to be my wife.

'Hey, love,' she said, walking towards me and giving me a quick kiss. 'Can you believe that our wedding is just a few weeks away?' but taking in the look on my face she was quick to wonder what was wrong.

I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me. 'I can't wait to officially make you mine, and I am so excited but there has been some mail come today for you and Finley' I said, looking into her beautiful blue eyes.

She smiled and leaned in to give me a longer kiss. As we pulled away, she handed me a list of tasks that needed to be done before the wedding and then asked about the letter. Finley walked through the door with Naomi by his side. As they opened their letters and read them I could see the raw emotions on their faces and I didn't have the heart to ask what they were about just in case it was too personal but before I could even make that choice myself Esme spoke up..."Our father...Our real father is listed in this letter. Thomas said that he was dead but I know this man. He's the Alpha of the grey stone pack...the pack we are going to for the next ball" It actually took me by surprise at what she had just said but she didn't seem too fussed by it right now...instead she wanted to continue with the summer preparation's and then the wedding. We spent the whole afternoon going through the list, making sure that everything was perfect for our special day.

As the day went on, we were both busy with our tasks or rather, everyone wanted to be busy doing their tasks that Esme had set so she didn't have to think about what could possibly be. Esme was in charge of the decorations and the food, while I took care of the guest list and the music. The pack members were also helping out in any way they could, and the whole pack house was buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

As the sun began to set, we all gathered in the pack house for a barbecue to celebrate the end of the day. It was a beautiful evening, filled with laughter, good food, and music. As we sat around the bonfire, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my pack and my soon-to-be wife.

As the night went on, I could feel the emotions and clogs ticking in Esme's brain but thankfully none of the pack members noticed anything different with her and started to leave one by one, leaving just Esme and I by the bonfire with my parents and some close friends and family members. We sat there, holding hands and enjoying the peacefulness of the moment.

'Thank you for everything,' Esme said, breaking the silence. 'I couldn't have done this without you and I know we need to decide what will happen and we will okay I just need a moment to adjust to the truth that has been left out of my life for 19 years.' she said still holding my hand.

I looked at her and smiled. 'You don't have to thank me, love. I would do anything for you but let's take it one day at a time okay.'

She leaned in and kissed me, and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with love and happiness. We sat there for a while longer, talking about our future together and our hopes and dreams.

As the night grew darker, we decided to head back to our room. As we walked hand in hand, the pack house was quiet, which was bliss for us all.
