"Die, you jerk!" Seungmin yelled.

I was surprised at his sudden outburst, so much so that I was distracted enough that I got myself killed.

"Damn it!" I groaned, chucking the controller to the side.

"Wait, no, don't die yet, Lex!" he exclaimed.

"I have no choice since my character has already been blasted to bits," I said bitterly.

"No, no, don't- ah, damn it!" Seungmin yelled at the TV screen as a death message popped up.

"Face it, we suck," I said with a laugh.

"We got so far," Seungmin whined.

"Who's crying like a baby in here?" someone said as they entered the living room.

It was Jeongin, who hadn't said a word to me yet, but also didn't seem to watch me as warily as the others did, especially when I interacted with Seungmin and Jisung, in which case he usually seemed intrigued.

"We died," Seungmin huffed, pouting adorably.

"On this game?" Jeongin said, looking at the screen with an amused expression. "Seungmin, you know you suck at this game."

"I thought Lex might be able to help," Seungmin sighed dramatically. "She said she used to play video games."

"I said I played them," I said with a small smile. "Not that I was any good at them."

Seungmin just groaned and slumped to his side on the sofa, making Jeongin and I laugh at his dramatic ass.

"Fake maknae," Jeongin chuckled as he sat near me. "I, uh, you probably know, but I'm Jeongin."

"Hi," I said shyly with a smile.

"Have you been putting up with Seungmin all day?" he asked.

"Just since lunchtime," I said quietly. "Like you probably gathered, the game was his idea, he practically dragged me to play when I'd mentioned I played video games."

"Don't tell him this, but he sucks at most games," Jeongin whispered with a grin, and I laughed softly.

"Heard that!" Seungmin's voice was muffled with his face in the cushion.

"Idiot," Jeongin shook his head in disbelief with a smile. "Hey, Seungmo, weren't you supposed to be working on Felix's car today?"

"Shit!" Seungmin suddenly sat upright. "I forgot." He groaned. "I better get on with it. Alex, come keep me company. I suppose you can come too, Jeongin."

"You suppose?" Jeongin scoffed. "You have no choice anyway, I'm joining you guys."

"Fine," Seungmin rolled his eyes but smiled as he stood.

Jeongin and I stood too, following Seungmin to the garage. This was one area I hadn't seen on my self-tour the other day, probably because it was locked.

The garage was huge, and with good reason as it was full of cars, some expensive and sporty, some built to be armoured and off-roading.

"These are some nice cars," I said, trying not to drool at the nearest sports car.

"You know cars?" Jeongin asked in interest.

"Only a little," I shrugged. "I know vaguely how they run and basic maintenance. Well, when I had my own car, anyway." I paused. "I wonder what happened to it."
