Third person p.o.v

"This is definitely the area he picked her up," Minho said from where he'd parked up on the side of the road.

"There's nothing here but trees," Changbin grumbled slightly, peering through the window.

"There's not gonna be anything here," Chan said reasonably. "Not if it was just a simple pick-up."

"There's probably something near where the chase was though," Sangyeon said over the speaker on the phone. "Especially if she had gotten into a crash like the trucker said."

Whilst the rest of Tbz had gone back to their own base, their leader and second-in-command had stayed in their own car whilst following the three Skz members out to the locations provided by the trucker.

"You're probably right," Chan nodded. "We'll head to the other location now."

"Copy," Sangyeon acknowledged.

The Skz car then led the way to the other location provided by the trucker, where the chase supposedly had happened.

"If she crashed it could be anywhere along this road," Changbin said as he watched for anything unusual.

"It would have to be somewhere where it would make sense for her to reach the other road," Chan frowned in thought.

"I'm looking at satellite imaging of the area now," Jacob said through the phone. "There's one section of this road that I guess is closest to the one we just left, by a about a mile. There seems to be some sort of ravine in between them. Sending coordinates now."

Chan's phone pinged with Jacob's message, and he input the coordinates into the navigation on the console for Minho to use.

"It's not far," Minho nodded. "When we reach that section look for anything out of place."

Not a few minutes later they reached the area where the coordinates had led them, and since the roads were quiet today, Minho slowed the car a little for them to search out the windows.

"There!" Changbin yelled as they passed a junction.

Instantly, Minho was pulling over to the side, having seen what Changbin had pointed out. It was an area of the trees where there was a multitude of broken branches that seemed to be in the size of a large car, and the mud was torn up and covered in many footprints.

After stopping the cars, all of them got out and walked to the edge of the verge, where after a few feet it dropped down into the ravine. All the way down in one large line were more broken branches and tree limbs.

"I don't see any wrecked cars," Changbin said, squinting as he looked down the slope.

"Nct probably pulled it back out," Chan said. "Especially if it was one of theirs."

"Leaving no evidence," Sangyeon murmured, nodding, then looked around. "But how would she have ended up down there?"

"I think she got pushed off the road," Minho said, looking at the junction behind them.

"There's skid marks," Jacob pointed out. "Some along this road right in front of this junction, and some going vertically to them just after them."

"She must've stopped for some reason," Chan said, thinking as he stared at the junction. An idea came to him. "Bin, you remember that stunt Seungmin pulled at that junction? When we were being chased by Nct from the cemetery?"
