Never did I think I'd ever meet anyone who was as much of a crackhead as Han Jisung. That was until I saw other members of Skz interacting with another group that also contained some crackheads. And so it was when I met Atz.
Thankfully, this was not a group I had wronged before, and so it was easy-going when I first met them when they visited the mansion. In fact, they were instantly friendly with me as much as most of the Skz members were. It was actually kind of nice, and it wasn't long before I was laughing and joking with them. What amused me the most, though, was watching Changbin become a whole other person when he was interacting with Wooyoung. It was as if he had suddenly become a child the way he acted cutely and laughed a lot. Honestly, I found it adorable and endearing.
"Are they always like this?" I asked with a laugh as I watched the two of them hug each other in a playfully aggressive way.
"Yep," San chuckled. "They become the fake maknaes when they're together."
"Just wait until we have to leave," Yunho sniggered. "They both will become dramatic crybabies."
"Weirdos," Seungmin muttered from where he sat on the floor in front of me, leaning against my legs as he focused on the screen, controller in hand as he and three others played Mario Kart.
"You can be just as weird, Seungmin," I said in amusement, ruffling his soft, fluffy hair.
"Aren't we all?" Hyunjin snorted.
"Oh yeah, you more than anyone," Felix grinned at Hyunjin playfully.
Without warning, Hyunjin leapt at Felix, tackling him on the sofa, and they started to play wrestle. The rest of us laughed at their antics, choosing to stay far away from their flailing limbs.
"Children," I shook my head in disbelief, laughing softly.
So far, the day had been relaxing, especially as I hadn't seen Chan, and Kayla had gone the same day she'd tried to confront me. Therefore, Hyunjin and I hadn't been flirting so far today, and it was nice not having to pretend with it. Instead, I was able to relax with people who were now considered friends, including Atz, who had said themselves that we were friends instantly. I could see myself being as close to them as I was with the others, they were too likeable not to be.

"You sure this is going to work?" I asked Jisung as we sat in his tech room.
After Atz had left earlier, Jisung and I had been working on some more devices and tools. Despite him being a crackhead sometimes, it was when he was working on this stuff that he got focused and even fixated; he was a genius after all.
"I'm sure," he said confidently, then bit his lip. "Maybe."
"Ji," I sighed, facepalming. "I need more than maybe if I'm the one testing it."
'It' was a tool Jisung had been working on for a while, and it was basically a mini explosive device that would work on thick metal materials, like safe doors or even lock rooms, and it would work without damaging anything beyond the door.
"Ah, let me have one more look," Jisung groaned, taking the device off me.
I refrained from smiling in amusement as he got back to work on it. Dude was a perfectionist, but that was honestly a good thing when making this stuff.
