Pierce was holding another virtual meeting with the World Security Council.

Pierce: Nick Fury was murdered in cold blood. To any reasonable person, that would make him a martyr, not a traitor.

Pyrrha: *horrified* They're calling Nick a traitor!?

Winter: How dare they! He's done nothing but try to uphold peace and ensure the safety of the public! Even more so than this council!

Qrow: *angry* These guys have always had a problem with Nick. They're probably more than happy to be throwing him under the bus now.

Rockwell: You know what makes him a traitor? Hiring a mercenary to hijack his own ship.

Singh: Nick Fury used your friendship to coerce this council intc delaying Project Insight. A project he knew would expose his own illegal operations. At best, he lied to you. At worst...

Velvet: They're blaming him?! How could they?!

Ozpin: It's the way these types of situations are handled. Someone must be held accountable for major incidents,
such as how the Council blamed me for failing to keep the public safe by not properly handling the events leading up to The Breach. Although, certain reports
didn't do me any favors.

The headmaster then looked to Ironwood, who looked away in shame.

Cinder: Everyone needs a scapegoat. That's how these issues work. Whatever the real story is doesn't matter, as long as they have SOMEONE to blame.

She thought back to how she was labelled a murderer after killing her step-family and Rhodes, nevermind the fact they abused her and he let it happen. Thankfully, Emerald was quick to hold her hand after this.

Pierce: Are you calling for my resignation? l've got a pen and paper right here.

Hawley: That discussion can be tabled for a later time.

Pierce: But you do want to have a discussion.

Rockwell: We've already had it, Mr. Secretary. This council moves to immediately reactivate Project Insight. If you want to say something snappy, now would be a good time.

Nora: These guys are the worst! I say break all their legs!

Coco: I bet AT LEAST one of them is part of the problem!

Ironwood: They're certainly being harsh, possibly even cruel, but their reasoning is understandable. They are the heads of
one of the top defensive agencies in the world, they have to respond to any questionable action with suspicion or
treat it as a threat.

Glynda: I'm afraid I have to agree. I certainly don't like it, but threats to the safety of peace can't be taken lightly. Such as when we sent Team RWBY and Dr. Oobleck to investigate Mount Glenn in order to find the base of the White Fang before the breach. Even if it ultimately failed, action was taken in that instance.

Steve and Natasha went to the mall, disguised as a civilian couple.

Nat: First rule of going on the run is, don't run, walk.

Steve: If I run in these shoes, they're gonna fall off.

The duo then made their way to a Mac store to use one of their computers.
