1 - Where Did He Come From? (Thor)

The scene shows a starry night sky. The view then slowly descends to show a van sitting at a desert landscape.

<Puente Antiguo, New Mexico>

Neo: Weird name for a town.

Cinder: I've never heard of an old or regular Mexico, let alone a New Mexico.

Ruby: Oh, yeah. These are from a different world called Earth, which was Gian's old home.

Despite still being mad at Cinder for her nefarious plans to destroy Beacon and kill Penny and Pyrrha, she decided to be civil, since those events haven't happened yet.

Penny: And the name of that town is in one of their languages, known as Spanish. It translates to 'Old Bridge' or 'Ancient Bridge'.

The 2 newcomers were quite amazed at this. A completely new world? Multiple languages? This might be interesying after all.

The inside of the van was then shown. A young woman and an older man could be seen with some equipment set up inside. Another woman was then shown, looking pretty bored.

The lights of the van then shut off, and the first woman, plus the old man poked their upper halves out of the sun roof. She positioned a device on the roof, pointing towards the sky, with somethong in her hand as it began beeping. As if waiting for something happen, she and the man looked up, but nothing happened.

Yang: What are they doing?

Weiss: From the look of things, it looks like they're doing some sort of science experiment. Trying to get some kind of reading based on those devices.

Jack: Yeah, science!

Neo and Yang: Boring! *looks at each other, shocked*

Jane: Wait for it.

Darcy: *bored* Can I gurn on the radio?

Jane: No.

Coco: Ugh! Even more boring! It's lame enough they have to sit there, but without playing any music! That's torture!

Ren: The music would likely distract them from the devices.

Jaune: Yeah, but it also distracts them from total boredom.

Pyrrha: Sacrifices must be made for Science, Jaune. And if boredom is the only sacrifice required, I'd say it's worth it.

Selvig: Jane, you can't keep doing this.

Jane: *frustrated* The last 17 occurences have been predictable to the second.

Selvig: Jane, your an astrophysicist, not some storm chaser.

Nora: No! Storm chasing is acgually cool!
