AN: I saw the cutest biketok video which inspired this!

The sound of keys jangling alerts me from my nap. Without even taking the blanket from my body I scramble off of the sofa and fall onto the floor, briefly recovering to dash to the front door where Leon is standing, his leather jacket already on as the keys to his bike dangle from his fingers.

"Going out?" I breathlessly say, wiping a strand of hair out of my eye as I smile up at a confused yet amused looking Leon. His brows raise as his smile grows, a small and curt nod gives me my answer.

"I'll grab my shoes. One sec." I mumble, a small yawn escapes me from my disturbed evening nap. I quickly bend down and grab my shoes, slipping them on in a rush to not cost Leon anymore time. I stand straight, but Leon shakes his head and knees in front of me as he chuckles.

"You can't get on the bike with your shoes a breeze away from falling off." He murmurs, taking his time to lace my shoes as I place a hand on his head to balance myself. Once done, he nods and stands, giving me a quick peck on the forehead before turning for the door.

As usual, Leon gets on the bike first then holds out a hand for me to take, steadying me as I sit myself behind him, zipping my hoodie up quickly I then  slip on the helmet he bought me a few months ago. I lean forwards, wrapping my arms around his middle, pressing myself against him as he rights his helmet then starts the bike, the loud rev of the engine makes my excitement grow. No matter how many times I ride with Leon, the thrill is always exhilarating.

"Ready?" Leon asks.

I nod, but then my brows knit together as I realise I don't even know where we're going. "Yeah.." I drawl, "but where are we heading off to again?"

I can almost see Leon's smirk as he replies. "To get food. I fancy a burger, that okay?"

I nod once more, headbutting my helmet to his as if to hurry him up. With one last rev we take off, hurrying down the long street away from our home. The city lights blur past as Leon carefully swerves around the lingering traffic, even though it's around eight in the evening. At the red lights, Leon's hands somehow find my thighs, squeezing them before drumming on them, his body sways side to side to a silent tune.

We reach the fast food place in no time. I hop off of the bike and head to one of the outside benches as Leon heads inside to order. I spend time looking up at the stars, seeing a few planes fly past in the meantime. Leon comes back a few minutes later, carrying a paper bag and a couple of drinks.

"Hope your hungry, the lovely woman gave us some free fries." Leon softly says, sitting opposite me and emptying the bag with food. I snort, reaching for my burger and drink.

"More like she gave you them, I'm telling you it's like everywhere we go you always get free food. They want to lure you in with the promise of unlimited fries." I ruefully say, shaking my head as I take a mouthful of my food. Leon shrugs, unwrapping his own burger.

"Whatever, I'm already encaptured by a beautiful woman, one who joins me for late night food trips." He says, mouth tilting as I gently laugh.

We eat quickly, then I clean up as Leon dusts down the crumbs somehow gathered on his jeans. "Ready babe?" He asks, grabbing my hand and swinging it as we walk back to the bike.

"Yeah, I'm sleepy again." I sigh, reaching for my helmet once back at his Ducati, but before I can Leon's arm snakes around my waist as he pulls me to him, kissing my lips as he lets out a happy groan.

"I love you so much, my beautiful little shadow." He whispers as I lift my head, deepening the kiss.

"Little shadow? That's a new one."

He nods, smiling as he pulls away and grabs my helmet for me. Carefully and minding my hair he puts it on and taps it to make sure it's secure. Once on he repeats the process with his, then we get back on the bike.

One the way home Leon takes the long route, giving us more time to ride through the night and be close to each other at the same time. I'm exhausted when we're finally home, so Leon takes my shoes off for me before scooping me up and carrying me to bed bridal style.

"Goodnight baby, sweet dreams." He murmurs, kissing the top of my head as he rubs my back when I lie nestled in his arms, the scent of him and the lingering smell of leather pulling me into a deep state of drowsiness.

"Night...dreams." I sleepily try to reply, earning an amused huff from Leon, then I'm out of it.
