AN: Hello everyone, and welcome to my third book of imagines!

Requests are still currently open, just send me a message so I can find them easier. If you've already requested prior to this part being published, then your request has already been written and will be published very soon...

I hope you all have a great time reading this book, whilst updates might not be as often as before, the quality will hopefully be much better♡

Now, onto the first imagine!

-------------------------------------------------------

"So I'm just taking you in, letting you do your science-y stuff, then getting you out?" Agent Leon Kennedy asks me as I carry my pack of lab equipment through the heavily overgrown path leading up to a suspected mansion full of B.O.Ws. It's my job as a biochemist to unravel the mysteries of them and find the possible culprit as I experiment, whilst Leon keeps me alive.

I nod, almost falling on my face as I trip over a branch. Leon catches me in time, sighing in defeat as I smile at him and continue as if nothing happened. "This mansion is practically an unlucky dip, we'll go in without not knowing what to expect, but I imagine none of it will be good." I finally reply, stopping at the end of the path as the haunted looking mansion appears, a vivid contrast to the spring day outside and blue sky behind it.

"Looks normal from here." Leon mumbles, but then we both stiffen as something huge passes by the upstairs window. I gulp, clutching my satchel of equipment closer to my chest. Leon sees my fear, and gently places a hand on my shoulder. I look up, meeting his friendly gaze.

"It'll be fine, I promise I won't let anything hurt you, and if there's too much in there we can scramble out and call for backup." He softly says. I scoff in response, still disliking this idea.

"And tell me again why your friends at the DSO couldn't charge in and fix this mess?" I frustratedly ask.

Leon winces at my harsh tone. "The government wants everything analysed before being terminated, and your the best biochemist they've got."

I sigh, nodding as I breathe in and out, reminding myself of that fun fact. Years ago the status felt like a great payoff, but now it's more of a burden, especially when the government tosses me headfirst into their own messes. "Let's go." I say, raising my chin and heading to the front door. Leon rushes past me, grabbing his gun as he counts to three and swings it open with a creak.

I wait, but nothing happens. I look to Leon, who just seems on edge, then hesitantly go inside. Everything is covered in dust, but I can't help but to notice the dried pools of blood on the marble, trailing up the stairs. "We'll follow the blood trail, it should lead to our first B.O.W." I order.

"Alright boss, follow my lead, and stay close." Leon tells me, then we begin our ascent. The staircase seems to go on longer than usual, but eventually we reach the second floor, where numerous corridors lead to a variety of different doors. I look down, using the dim sunlight through the windows to see, I follow the blood with my eyes, but frown as it leads in different directions.

"What now?" Leon asks.

"We need to find the source so I can take samples. This trail over here looks fresher due to the colour, so we should go this way." I begin, but Leon begins to walk in the opposite direction. I swear under my breath, jogging to catch up with him as I scold the man. "What are you doing? I said go that-"

"I figured the dead guy who just walked past would be our best lead." Leon deadpans. I look ahead to see a zombie stumbling at the bottom of the carpeted corridor, his steps muffled by the plush flooring. My lips purse, I nod as Leon smirks but looks over his shoulder.
