AN: So I saw this 'questions to ask your boyfriend' thing on Pinterest and thought it would be fun to write an imagine on it, since I personally spend wayyy too much time doing Buzzfeed quizzes and other fun questionnaire games.

Also, all of Leon's answers to the questions are my personal headcanons, so some of you might disagree or have better suggestions!

I kinda pictured RE4R Leon for this, but since it's pretty vague any version would work♡

---------------------------------------------------------

Rain hammers against the window of the apartment as I lay on Leon's lap, my head using his thigh as a pillow as I mindlessly scroll through my phone. Leon's fingers gently run through my hair, occasionally twisting the strands around his finger which practically makes me purr in delight.

The scent of the apple and cinnamon scented candle helps add to the cosy vibe, filling the living room with a sweet but spicy smell whilst the flame flickers every so often. "Huh." I mumble to myself as I see a little picture full of questions. I click on it, seeing a variety of fun questions to ask your boyfriend. Leon and I are bored, hence why we're lounging on the sofa like two house cats, so I figure I would give it ago.

"Can I ask you some questions?" I ask Leon, lifting my head to watch his brows furrow together in confusion, his fingers come to a stop in my hair as he thinks on it for two seconds, then he gives me a nod, mumbling a "Sure thing."

I smile, then look back at the screen to ask him the first question. "Okay, so, what movie was so sad you'd never watch it again?"

Leon arches a brow, "What kind of question is that?"

I huff a laugh, "Surely it's better than asking what your favourite colour is. It's blue, isn't it?"

He nods, giving my head a little scratch as if in praise for my memory, then he hums, pursing his lips as he thinks on my question. "I mean that movie with the guy on death row was pretty sad, but I'm gonna have to go with Turner and Hooch."

"Really? But it ended happy overall."

Leon gives me a look as if he's feeling defensive about his answer. "Well yeah, but Hooch still...nevermind, next question."

With a shrug, I go to the next. "Yeesh, are you ready?" Leon just stares in waiting. "What are the two biggest things you've learnt from previous relationships?"

Leon stiffens a little, but then leans his head back against the sofa as he lifts a hand to scratch his neck. "Hmmm," He drawls, "one; don't settle for someone who tries to hold you back, and two; never watch the next episode of a show you're watching together."

I gasp, sitting up straight as I turn and look at Leon. "No you didn't!"

Leon holds his hands up, genuinely looking guilty. "I didn't mean to! It was just on and I watched it, thinking it was an old episode until I got invested, then before I knew it I'd watched it all without her."

I bite back a grin, glad my Leon doesn't do that with me, I guess people can change. "Alright, next question. What would be the perfect day?"

Leon smiles at this one, eyes crinkling as he pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around me, his lips kissing my cheek as I laugh and lean my head on his shoulder, gazing at him. "Anything with you, but being somewhere warm and not needed for a while would be a good vacation."

I nod, reaching up to cup his jaw and brush it with my thumb. Leon nods at the phone, getting into all this question asking now. "What do you most look forward to getting old?"

Leon doesn't hesitate as he replies. "A lot honestly. People dread getting older but I think it's not a bad thing. I mean, you learn a lot of stuff, but also it just means that you've collected all these different memories and people along the way, by the time you're fifty or even eighty you've met so many people, done so many things even if they're minor to you, and you've lived. I think that's the most important thing, to know you've lived and persevered." Leon nods as if affirming his answer, and I'm truly speechless. He chuckles, half from embarrassment and half from my reaction.

"All right, now your turn to answer."

"Me?" I exclaim, but then I tilt my head as I think about it. Leon's fingers begin mindlessly tracing shapes on my arm as I'm silent for a bit, but then I think of an answer. "Grey hair. I think we'd totally rock it."

Leon laughs, raising his brows. "Yeah?"

"Yeah? Especially you, you'd look like a proper silver fox." I shrug, only making Leon blush a little. I decide to go back to the phone, gathering my next question. "Ooh here's an easy one, what were the last two books you read?"

Leon gives me a pointed look. "Baby, you've seen me reading."

"Yeah, but just answer it." I plead, nuzzling my nose into his neck as his arms tighten around me.

"I read Don Quixote by Cervantes and what's that other one you asked me to read? Twisted..."

"Twisted Love. And you loved it!" I grin, earning an eye roll from Leon, but deep down I know I'm right, even if he refuses to admit it. "Last one, how you do you feel about pets?"

Leon smirks, fingers lowering to my ribs now. "Are you sure you aren't making this one up?" He teases as I shake my head and show him my phone. He doesn't look at it, and trusts that I'm being honest, which I am.

"I think they're good." He shrugs. I wait for more, but it doesn't come. He's baiting me, the bastard.

"Leon!" I whine, gently whacking him as he huffs a laugh and pokes at me, tickling me. I swat him away, silently demanding more of an answer.

"Okay, fine. Pets are really good." I give him a frown, which does it. "I like pets, they're good companions most of the time. Cats are easier to look after, but dogs are cool too, at least they actually care about you."

"Would you ever get one?" I hum, sitting up and straddling him as his hands find my waist. His lips quirk up.

"Maybe."

"Ohmygod, we're getting a cat!" I cheer, grinning as Leon begins to argue. It's been a frequent conversation, one Leon keeps avoiding since I first began begging him to let be bring one home, but now I know his hesitancy is weakening.

"No, I said maybe I'd get one-"

"Sir Fluffypaws is gonna love it here."

"I'm not naming it that."

I grin even more now he's admitted to having a name preference, just further proof he's been thinking about it. In the end he just pins me down on the sofa and kisses me, plucking my phone from my hand as the rain outside continues to fall, and we go back to a comfortable silence.
