AN: I received another request, but this one could be very triggering to some readers due to discussions of rape (off page) and trauma. Please don't read if you think this could trigger you.

In this one, the reader has been raped and Leon finds her. He stays with her, and through time begins to help her with her trauma. It has a HEA where Leon and reader fall for each other.

---------------------------------------------------------

Y/N POV:

I yawn as I walk down the dark streets, my hands in my pockets as I cross the road to walk to the store. It's almost midnight, but I'm desperately craving a chocolate milkshake, and since the store isn't too far I figured I could indulge, glad that I finally have some freedom since moving to Raccoon City a few months ago.

I look behind me, the hairs on my neck on end as if something dangerous is around, but I don't see anything. I face forwards again, only to see a figure walk out of one of the darker alleyways. I stop, but then shake myself out of if, of course there's going to be people around. I put a polite smile on my face as I walk past the man, but all of a sudden he grabs my arm, tugging me down the alleyway.

I yelp, not even having time to panic before he's hitting me around the face. I fall on my ass with a harsh thump, crawling backwards as he looms over me, his shadow casting a darkness over me as tears spring to my eyes. "Just leave me alone, please. I-I can give you money."

The man shakes his head, already kneeling on top of me as I kick and wriggle, clawing at the ground to try and escape, but he's strong, and I'm too scared to think properly. "I don't want your money sweet cheeks." He laughs coldly as he begins pawing at my jeans, licking his lips eagerly...

Leon POV:

I get out of the police car, running a hand through my hair as I take a deep breath. I can handle robberies and minor crimes, but murder and rapes make me feel sick. I dread getting the calls, but it's my duty to protect and seek justice, and since the act has already been done, it's my job to make sure the assholes get what they deserve whilst comforting the victims.

As I walk to the crime scene, a darkened alley only a few minutes from the local store, the other officers block my way, shaking their heads. "It's no use, she won't let anyone get close enough to even talk." I frown, glancing over their shoulders to find a girl around my age sat on the floor, her hair messed up, lip wobbling and a bruise on her cheek.

"Let me try, she might be okay with someone her age." I say, then don't wait for an answer as I walk past them and head to the girl. I stop a small distance away, then crouch down until I'm the same level as her. "Hey, I'm Leon, I'm with the RPD, and I'm here to help you, okay?"

She looks up at me, eyes watery. It breaks my heart seeing how traumatised she is, but I've got to keep going. We can't sit here all night, and there are procedures that have to be followed. "The bastard who did this has been caught already," I tell her even though I'm not supposed to disclose that information, "he's not gonna be able to hurt you ever again." I move a little closer but she flinches. I purse my lips, then hold my hands out to show I'm not going to do anything.

"I'm not going to come any closer, but I need you to come with me when you feel ready. We need to take you to the station and gather some evidence, do some tests and ask you a few questions. I'll get you some hot chocolate or tea if you want?"

She stares at me, but something in her expression shifts. She nods once, letting out a shaky exhale. My lips lift a little in a sympathetic smile. "Good. I promise you'll be safe, and I've got a friend who can sit in the back of the car with you, she'll make sure you're extra secure and can talk to you if you want to."
