AN: I received a request to write an AU where Leon is Spiderman and Reader takes the place of Gwen Stacy- except in this imagine she doesn't die. I honestly didn't really know how to do this, so I kind of just went for the basic romance of the movie as well as an in depth explanation of the scene where they kiss and Reader finds out that Leon's Spiderman. It leaves off with a happy super short summed up ending. Hopefully this is still cool though, and you enjoy it regardless!

He was watching me again, which doesn't bother me as much as it should have. I smile, turning around from my desk to look over my shoulder and across the classroom at Leon Kennedy. His blue eyes widen as he realises he's been caught red handed, but he doesn't blush or do anything. Instead he smiles back at me, tapping his pencil on his notebook as our teacher continues to drawl on in that monotone voice that makes me want to sleep. I peel my eyes away from him, tucking my hair behind my ear as I jot down some information, but then the student behind me is leaning forwards, tossing a note onto my desk. I raise my brows, unfolding it to see a small handwritten message:
'Want to study together after school?'
It's in Leon's familiar handwriting, and I almost snort at his idea of flirting. Regardless, it's cute and when I look back over my shoulder at him I see he's waiting for a response. I think on it for two seconds, then nod, until the teacher clears his throat and captures my attention. I swivel forwards, internally scolding Leon for distracting me.
As soon as the high school day ends I find Leon leaning against my locker, hands in pockets as he nervously waits for me. "So, do you actually want to study or is that code for something? Most boys use that as code for 'let me in your bedroom', is that the same for you Leon Kennedy?" I ask as I grab my books from my locker. Leon's eyes widen as he holds up his hands in a surrender, already shaking his head.
"No! I don't mean it like that, I just thought we could hang out and maybe do some math together."
I arch my brow, shuffling my stack of books in my hands. One begins to slip and fall until Leon quickly reaches for it, somehow catching it seconds before it hits the ground. I blink, unsure how that reaction was even possible, but then again its been a long day. Leon tries to take my books from me but I shake my head, hefting them higher so I can do it on my own. He closes my locker for me as we begin to head for the exit. "Math, huh? Sounds like the perfect date." I tease. Leon swallows, but doesn't seem to be put off by my attitude, seems like he genuinely wants to hang out. He nods, holding the door for me as I slip past and wait for him to catch up.
"Who said this was a date?" He teases back. Alright, so he's not as awkward as I'd predicted. An hour later we're at my family's apartment, Leon and I sit in my room as we talk about everything, admittedly there's a lot of flirting going on between us, and there's not a math textbook in sight. A knock on my open door interrupts us as my dad stands there, still dressed in his police uniform.
"Hey sweetie, I didn't know we were having guests for dinner?" He smiles, eyeing up Leon like he's a suspect. I smile, shaking my head as I stand up and kiss my dad's cheek.
"We're not, Leon's now leaving." I say, giving Leon 'that look'. He nods, standing and grabbing his bag, but my dad's insisted and protective, and instead of letting Leon go he stops and observes Leon before looking back to me.
"No that's alright, why don't you stay for dinner Leon, I'd love to get to know about the man my daughter's hanging around with." There's no room for argument in his tone. Leon steals a glance at me, internally crying for help, but he nods and sets down his bag again. My shoulders hunch from the tension, my dad's never been good with my relationships, and every single boy I've brought home has never gotten the approval from my father. Half an hour later my family, Leon and I are seated around the table, my dad grills Leon for information about his family and aspirations, until I finally change the subject to my dad's day at work. He snorts, and begins complaining about the recent masked menace known as 'Spider-Man', absolutely slating him about him being an 'amateur' and 'dangerous'. Throughout my dad's speech Leon keeps eating, looking more and more uncomfortable by the second, until he finally interrupts.
